its a scam, they sell accidental insurance and when you try to claim, they say accident happened because of you so we are not paying :). do they expect accident to happen on its own ?Also they have made reaching them so difficult and harassing, people stop chasing them for the claim @flipkart is also helping them to loot people.

One Assist Insurance Scam with Support with Flipkart

I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a matter of serious concern involving OneAssist Consumer Solutions Pvt. Ltd., with regard to their fraudulent rejection of my warranty claim under the Complete Appliance Protection Plan.Details of the Incident:Product: MI TVDate of Purchase: 16th October 2023Insurance Company: OneAssistPolicy: 3-Year Complete Appliance Protection Plan (includes Accidental & Liquid Damage)Date of Incident: 14th July 2025Nature of Damage: TV stopped working due to rainwater entering the premises (we live in a house with a tin shed roof — Patrel Wala Makan), leading to a blank display.Chronology of Events:MI Service Visit:MI's authorized engineer inspected the TV, confirmed the issue, took photographs, and assured me it would be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.Warranty Claim Rejection:Later, MI rejected the claim citing water damage, which is not covered under standard warranty.Insurance Claim with OneAssist:As I had purchased a separate insurance policy from OneAssist that explicitly covers liquid and accidental damage, I raised the claim. However, they rejected it under the following service request IDs:Service ID 46237097: Rejected saying it’s covered under MI warranty (which it wasn’t).Service ID 46516517: Rejected stating they require official confirmation from MI about water damage.Service ID 46711689: Rejected again with the reason “We do not cover water damage” – a direct contradiction of their own policy.Misleading Practices:I purchased this insurance from Flipkart at the time of buying the TV. OneAssist promotes their plans with false claims and misleading advertisements about coverage. Don’t ever buy insurance from them

Don’t ever buy insurance from one assist. They are frauds and devils waiting for us to make a mistake in the claim form or details given during the call to reject the claim.I bought insurance for UPS from them and tried to make a claim as there was no backup they rejected saying that the day issue started (a random date I put) and the day I submitted the claim was over 48 hrs. How do I know when the issue started and what is the issue? Its a UPS and glitches are expected. Am I supposed to sit infront find the issue and report? It's a UPS and you don't carry it in your hand always. The more annoying thing is that they called me after submitting the claim and I thought it's just an information call and not a verification call because they didn't state anything in the beginning. In the call they were asking me for the date of issue started and again I just mentioned a random date. They could have said in the beginning of the call itself that the claim would be rejected if the issue start date is not within 48 hrs but they didn't mentioned this and wait for me to repeat the same to cancel the claim. Devils. When I resubmitted the claim they rejected it saying the previous claim was rejected and they cannot accept another claim without I repairing from service centre. They don't mentioned such terms in the website when you are buying a products I bought it from flipkart. They said they email us such terms but I don't remember receiving any.

My device was covered for physical…

My device was covered for physical damage and extended warranty. They did fix my phone the first time hence 2 stars. But they obviously did a lousy job. Had the same issue a few months later. When i raised a claim. They told me they found liquid damage in the phone(NOT TRUE!!). When i pointed out that i was covered for liquid damage as well. They said sorry its not what you mentioned hence claim rejected .

Incredibly frustrating experience!! Never ever go for this company!!!

Bought an extended warranty along with the purchase of my TV. TV went faulty during the 1st year of extended warranty. Complaint raised via app within 1 day. From here the misery starts!!! Technician visits, says panel needs replacement. Said he will need 1000Rs to fix. No denying this payment (as spare parts and labour charges are fully covered by insurance) the technician went away. From then for for over 1 month the claim went into limbo.. sometime claiming spare part which was reported available becoming unavailable... New technician contact assigned in the app saying on call he doesnt work for this company so never contact... claim goes back to approval stage and hold. Customer care unreachable and being completely useless. Each time you contact you to explain the issue to a new person inspite being promised on the previous interaction all the information being shared is being registered into an internal complaint form. After a month, the claim is rejected in the system by a technician who claims he tried to call us (no any call based on call history from service provider) and couldn't reach us. Then on insisting with customer care the claim is reopened. Another 1 week waiting for new technician. Then randomly getting a message in app the tv is no longer viable to repair and a claim is approved for an incorrect depreciation value (double than what is qouted in the insurance which is more favourable to Oneassist. One the last week, I have trying explain their own insurance policy to them without any help!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
