Review Time
Order E312304055108001398Ordered the new one +11 5G. The phone came within two days of ordering, even though it wasn’t supposed to be shipped for another two weeks. Luckily I had only paid for standard shippingPhone came with a trade-in, whereas they would give an extra hundred pounds on top of what your phone you were trading was worthMy mistake was, I sent my phone off the same day ordered and off it went to the trad in departmentWhen the phone arrived unfortunately it wasn’t for me and I didn’t quite like the interface of the 1+ that I remembered from years ago. No matter how they sugarcoat it, it’s still colour OS making out its oxygen OS over the top of androidHowever, with this in mind, I just want to point out as there are so many negative reviews on here that I did not have any problems whatsoeverI called the representative on the 1+ number. He sorted out the return for me, even including a shipping label, so there was no cost whatsoever to me to return the phone even though I have opened it and tried it out for a day. There was, “no we can’t return the phone” etcThe phone was returned with a 24 hour postal sticker so they received the phone the very next day and within two days I received my full refund!!! amazing!!!The only one issue is I seem to have lost my old phone in the trade-in, but as the phone was only worth £30 I’ve not lost much as it would’ve probably ended up in the bin at some pointI can see there are lots of negative reviews on here, but all I can say is, give them a go. My service was outstanding from start to finish albeit the phone was not to my taste in the end. People will always complain when things don’t go right, that’s a matter of life that’s what we do. However there’s not enough people will come on here and give them credit when things go rightLike all things in life, mistakes will happen and they probably are a few orders and things that may go a bit wonky when dealing with thousands of orders day in day out, but I can only tell you on what’s happened to me and it was fantastic so if you’re thinking of getting a 1+ phone ignore the bad reviews and go for it
I have been using oneplus phones for over 10 years now, and I was very excited to order a new oneplus nord 2T.What a horrible mistake. The phone itself is okay for the price. However, since receiving it the SIM tray has been jammed and so I can't actually insert my SIM and use the phone. I have been trying to contact customer support for the past 2 weeks and they have been utterly unhelpful. From email I didn't get a response, chat was unhelpful and unfriendly, and currently I have been on hold for 41 minutes for the call support.I tried filling in a return or replacement request. However, I can only fill in a US address, despite the website and my account being set up as UK. I can't change the country, so I can't return the phone. I can't speak to a single person who can help me with this, and as a result I am stuck with a £400+ phone that isn't working. What a horrible mistake.
This review is only based on service, as I haven't tried the phone yet. Unfortunately, the service is horrendous. OnePlus had an offer where you get free Ear Buds with the purchase of OP 11. I bought this offer and today the phone came, but with no Ear Buds. When I contacted the CS team, I was told I would have had to purchase through the app (which was not stated anywhere at the time). This week they have added the text "exclusive in app", but I have screenshot to prove it wasn't there when I bought the phone. They realized their mistake, but does not attempt to correct it. Response from OnePlus: "sorry for the inconvenience". That's it. They lied and didn't hold up the deal they had offered. And that is all they have to say. They just closed the chat after this.
I never experienced such a bad brand like OnePlus in my life. I gifted OnePlus 8T spending 38000 to my wife a year ago. She is very careful about her phone and takes great care. But, a few days ago she noticed one vertical green line across her phone. As days goes by numbers of lines are increasing both across vertically and horizontally. I request everyone never fall prey to advertisement and never pay hefty amounts on such low graded brands.
April 10th Pre-order the OnePlus Pad, they couldn't apply the 50% on the pen they gave "no explanation" took them 2 weeks it fix it.Pad shows up. Try to connect keyboard, doesn't work. Start a ticket, sent the keyboard out ASAP. 2.5 WEEKS to get me a new magnetic keyboard.Try to test it out, strange it doesn't work.Send in ANOTHER ticket asking for them to replace/look at my Pad since the keyboard is a replacement. I am promptly told "we cannot replace/return your product as its past the replace/return date" So because you sent out a BAD product, took 2.5 WEEKS to replace the keyboard, you are now putting the liability ON THE CUSTOMER because of your mismanagement and lack of QC??I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONEPLUS PRODUCT AND I AM SELLING MINE EFFECTIVE TODAY. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them.
Where to begin. Last year I purchased a new phone and traded in my old device in December 2022. It was clear to me early on that something went wrong with my trade in, but I was assured it was in hand. After some time and many chats to customer service(useless) it turns out my trade in was cancelled....I never cancelled this and no idea how I would if I wanted to. They found the trade in number relating to me, at times they told me to take it up with the courier even though I had provided proof of delivery multiple times. Again it was very clear to me that they had lost my device. I did eventually get the payment for my phone IN APRIL 2023. Absolutely terrible, didn't offer me anything in compensation for the inconvenience and sheer amount of time I wasted chasing this up. What an awful experience, what a poor excuse for customer service. Never again, back to Samsung for me.
About a month ago my OnePlus 7 received a software update from OS11 (which worked extremely well) to OS12. It was a big mistake. Functionality was removed, a number of apps stopped working correctly, and the overall usability of the phone was generally downgraded. The Oneplus strength (the Oxygen UI) has been utterly destroyed. I wrote a detailed review of the problems to OnePlus on March 30th, and received the promise they would respond within 48 hours. Despite a further reminder, I have heard absolutely nothing. I have reverted my phone to OS11, which is a long and tortuous process. Now I am pestered by daily notifications to upgrade again to OS12. Never. Been there, done that. Don't want to go there again. But why the radio silence from OnePlus customer service?UPDATE. Magically, an hour after posting this review, OnePlus customer service Europe sent an email advising to do a full reset. This will reinstall OS12 again.... Words fail me.
Even it doesn't deserve 1 Star rating,I have bought it in the month of dec'22 n it got dead in March'23Seriously we are spending 50k to 60k just for one year or so.Their customer support says that please repair your phone outside because it is so expensive to afford.Worst experience Ever
I bought some oneplus buds z just under 2 years ago and was pleased they offered a 2 year warranty. When one of the buds stopped working I contacted the Oneplus support by email and got no response even though the automated response said thye will contact you within 48 hours. I called up the support and it turns out the warranty is only valid if you buy the product direct from Oneplus. So I will be throwing away my Oneplus buds along with any chance of buying from Oneplus again. . .
