Review Time
I've never used OnePlus before, but I ordered OnePlus buds pro in middle December intending to give it on Christmas.After three weeks one of earbud (left ear) started to sound very bad. Her was send to repair workshop for checking but unfortinatly was no possibe to fix it. Unbelievably poor product and even worse refund/customer service. I Purchased the new Onephone 11 after watching all the marketing launch etc thinking this could be the Samsung killer. Product was poor so I sent it back as per legal TCs along with the buds. So, I get an email saying they are only refunding a portion of the amount I paid. Contact customer support and they can't confirm why (all items where in the box so it should be easy) but have to wait 3-5 working days while they email another department. Shoddy. Fast to take the money and looks like I will have to go through my credit card company as I'm not going to be lost in the system while they take money which this outfit feels like. Stick to literally any other brand except this one. Not good for first impressions.Update: The company appears to have dishonest people working now - they claim not both items are sent back which they were. Be very careful of using this company as it appears they are dishonest with not actual proof of any returns from their end switching blame to the customer. I will be taking this to the credit card company now.Update 2: So, I added both items to the return as the returns process isn't that easy and it has gone missing so further to this indicates that employees they use for returns may not be as honest as they need to.
Crappy phone. I keep having problems with my phone. I bought it years ago and don't have proof of purchase. I threw away my receipt. They refuse to it without it so now they robbed me of an $800 phone that won't work, that they won't fix. I bought the phone but now they broke it and won't fix it. Scam! Who keeps their friggin receipt after years and years?! I never had to show proof of purchase to apple, Samsung to get my phone fixed!! Never recommending onePlus!!!! My husband and I have one plus. After seeing how they won't help me with something they messed up, he's tossing his one plus phone too. Crooks.
I had an interaction via chat about my headphones not working very well. I was sent a link to share with royal mail and sent the device back for replacement.After 1 week of sending the headphones, I contacted one plus again and they said they were dealing with the request.I contacted them 3 more times, and on the last one, they asked for the tracking number provided by royal mail. I was never made aware about them needing that, i none of my interactions. The request for this information was done around one month after i sent the product.Now, they are not doing anything without the tracking number, and I was left with not headphones at all. This is plain scam and robbery.This is the second one plus phone i have and definitely the last one. Awful service.
Waiting for 38 days for an update.EU update F.73 announced January 03.Skipped and replaced with version F.74 on February 03.(No communication or explanation why)No update in (EU)Netherlands yet.In fact the last 12 months not a single bi-monthly updates has been in time.Not even security updates.There is a community app made by OnePlus itself.OP does not even feel the need to communicate with their customers in this app.OnePlus does not even reply to customer suggestions/complaints.OnePlus does not commucate.Marketingwise a very arrogant attitude.Never again wilI recommend OnePlus.Does OnePlus make good devices... YES!
Super disappointing experience with customer service. Very unhelpful and rude even though their website glitched and the transaction went through twice. Wouldn't particularly recommend the phone and the earphones aren't great either won't connect properly when walking outside.
I purchased the OnePlus 11 with a trade-in...big mistake. I should have read others experiences first.I never received the phone (USPS lost it), but I was charged for it.I contacted OnePlus support several times trying to either get the phone or a refund, but that was too much for them to handle. At the moment I am disputing the charge with the credit card company. Now, OnePlus is also charging me for the trade-in.I explained to them, again and again, that I have not received the new phone, so I cannot send my phone until I receive the new phone first. That did not compute either.They kept telling me they will solve the issue and contact me, but never did. I had to contact them each time.OnePlus phones are ok, but dealing with the company is a horrid experience.
Bad customer service and repair service. I went from being a loyal customer that was struggling to get an invite for the OnePlus one to one being disappointed, angry and mad . I've sent a phone for repairs with minor damage ( cracked back camera glass that should be covered by insurance I've purchased previously of them) in December .. and got an invoice for extra damages for which they are trying to convince me to pay. I even send photos of the phone being in good condition before send it for repair.. and almost 2 months later now, and still no response and no solution .. I should of known better and check trust pilot before buying another phone of them..
At first, it looks promising.However, as the months have rolled on, I have found that their phones are severely limiting on the capability.You'd think that it being an Android phone, it would have all the usual functionality, but I have found that they limit normal functionality with their own useless software (such as the battery optimiser). This makes getting notifications, let alone using the actual phone, impossible.Then, when I try to contact customer support about an issue with linking the phone to my account, I get thrown around person to person, and they basically rewrite a narrative to their own liking!Worst phone company I have dealt with (and I've had Windows Phones).
