Review Time
Absolutely disgusted. Still no reply to my email asking what to do with the unsolicited box sitting in my hall. I never ordered any clothes, have zero opportunity to return them anytime soon and yet I believe the money will just come out of my account based on others' experiences.. it feels like robbery!!!
Scammers. Purchased my data from Threads and out of nowhere after not even having a Thread box of clothes in a year send me one. I return it and they still charge me £600 to my credit card. Never responded to my emails. No number to call. This is completely a fraudulent company. Luckily my bank can resolve.
Having used Stitchfix for a couple of years, I was intrigued to see how Outfittery compared. I was generally very pleased with my first selection - the colours were good for me and several items were things I wouldn't have chosen but really liked. That's the exciting thing about receiving clothes selected by a stylist: they take one outside one's safe habits!
Like so many other reviews, stitching fix account was automatically transferred to the outfittery without permission and a box turned up in unexpectedly . The box was returned yet the full amount was deducted from my account. Have yet to get my money back.
Like so many people here I had an account with Stitch fix who were great. I received an email from Outfittery saying that they had taken over my subscription but when I read the reviews I asked them to delete my account. Today a box of clothes has turned up. I did not order them nor did I receive any notification that they were being sent which would have enabled me to cancel. The clothes are awful as well. Not my style or colour at all. So cross that I now have to arrange to got the the post office to return something I didn’t want in the first place
I ordered from here before a large % of these bad reviews came through. I also was a previous Stitchfix customer and thought I’d give them a shot. Changed all outfit combos as not to my taste. Realise now I should have cancelled then and there. Received clothes and kept none of them. Sent them back a few days later via Royal Mail (and included returns label). This morning I wake up to find I’ve been charged over £300 for the privilege - this is not acceptable. I am now wondering how I’m going to pay for the Mother’s Day lunch I had planned to take my mother on today. I want my money back.
I was a huge fan of Stitch Fix but have not had a good experience of Outfittery at all. I will not be using them again. Firstly, I was sent £500 of clothes that I never ordered, having been automatically transferred from Stitch Fix. I had no knowledge of this because their emails on transfer from Stitch Fix were all in my junk emails (unsurprisingly, since I never signed up). Like many others here, an item was missing from the box (which never happened in 3 years at Stitch Fix). Fortunately, I managed to clear this with customer services and the item was removed from my box and the invoice. The box also included a note from the stylists addressed to someone else. I did keep one tshirt which obviously I am happy to pay for, but they won’t provide me with details to do so. They have emailed me numerous times demanding payment with a link to “pay now”, however there is no working link on the email. I have responded twice asking for a link, but have had no response, other than further chasers for payment. They are now threatening additional late payment fees (with no indication of how much these are) despite not actually enabling me to make the payment. All in all, it hasn’t been good and I would steer well clear.
Similar story to others, had an old Stitch Fix account, suddenly get a box in the post and immediately raised the complaint as I didn’t have an account with them. I sent the items back - tracked so can see it was received - and yet I have just had over £500 debited from my account. My bank has said that this company has “proof of credentials” on file (not provided or authorised by me!) which means that they are acting unlawfully OR Stichfix just changed its name and is doing this to get cash unwillingly from lapsed customers. This is quite frankly criminal behaviour by this company who are forcing poor quality products on people and don’t have the decency to respond to calls or emails to resolve matters. The more awareness we can bring about this the better, as this is no better than a scam.
