SCAM. AVOID!! Received a box full of clothes to the value of c£600 today(!!!) I didn’t order them but reading the reviews below it now appears Stitch Fix sold all my personal details without my consent. Regarding the clothes, they are truly awful ranging from a brown wool coat through to sandals. Odd!! Writing this review really so say I have re-sealed the box ready to return so dare to charge me a penny team Outfittery !!
I am a former Stitchfix customer, Stitchfix must have sold my details to Outfittery and I was sent a box of clothes without my consent, clothes received were nothing like I had formerly received from Stitchfix and I returned all items for which I have proof of return and acknowledgment from Outfittery that my return had been received by them, now 4 weeks after my return I have been charged for all items sent even though all items were returned, contacted customer service and not had a reply, have raised a dispute with my credit card company.
Got my box with five items, which were not to my taste, put back into the box and sent them back.Got a email to say they had received them back then get another today to say they are taken 404,99 out of my account .not happy and waiting to here there reply.never had this trouble with stichfix.
Disgusting, if not illegal then highly immoral. I have never provided them with my bank details and yet they appear to have bought them from another company and decided to sign me up to a subscription for their service without asking me. If this isn’t illegal then it should be. I had considered using them in the past but certainly won’t now! If you want us to have a ‘seamless service’ as you keep parroting, you could have ASKED and used an opt in system to transfer details. Instead you used an opt out system which relies on people checking emails from a closed company. It’s a money grab make no mistake. Completely unethical.
If I could give zero stars I would. Received a box from them weeks ago, sent it back and today have been charged full price for everything. No answer from customer services and the compnay has basically emptied my bank account, due to pay for daughter's birthday party today but can no longer do this, so thank you, her party will.now have to be cancelled untill this is resolved. I am also questioning how outfittery were able to purchase my info from stitch fix without my consent.
Same story as others, was a previous stitch fix customer, unbeknown to me my personal data and bank info was sold to this company. Or this is stitch fix trading under a different name. Box arrived on my doorstep with over £600 truly awful, disgusting overpriced clothing that even your granny would be embarrassed to be seen in! I have returned box and kept receipt but worried I am now going to be charged! No option to remove my personal details or cancellations and emails ignored. Avoid avoid this company like the plague! If I get charged then I will be legally taking it to further!! Read the comments on Facebook of other disgruntled people who have also been scammed and money stolen from this company!
An absolute scam. I used StitchFix for about two months over a year ago. About 6 weeks ago I got an Outfittery box sent to my address. I immediately contacted them asking how they'd got my details, and apparently, they'd purchased them from StitchFix and then were sending boxes out to previous customers without even asking if they wanted one. I sent the box back - and as per everyone else on this review site - am now getting requests for me to pay £580!!!!!! £580 for clothes I never ordered. Never wanted. Never wore. And returned almost immediately. Now, I've sent them multiple emails, social media messages, and tried to call them, but nobody responds or picks up the line. I can't get them to stop sending me automated emails, but can't get a single person to reply to me.Do not use this company if you value your mental health.
Like others previously signed up for Stitch Fix UK, I'm being spammed by this company and just told I have a box of clothing on the way – all of which I did not sign up for. I did not consent to this and have emailed the company to remove my data – but I doubt I'll hear anything. I have also reported to my bank that I did not authorise any payment to them. This is a highly suspicious business strategy and, I would imagine, illegal!
As many others I am a former StitchFix customer and was charged for returned items, I have the RoyalMail confirmation of return. It is very worrying that they hold you bank details and you can't even remove them from your account without going through their customer service. I am going through my credit card company for the refund, don't believe in their ability to sort this.
