Awful experience and awful company. They sent me items that were not in the original order and missed off items that were in the order. I have now been charged for items not received and they will not give me my money back. I have been trying to contact Outfittery for a month now with no responses. Having to take this up with my bank to try and get my money back. Complete scammers and would recommend to anyone that they stay away.
Appalling service, received first box and I didn’t like anything in it. I returned it, logged it on the site. They have registered that they received it, yet they have charged me for everything. £362!!! I use the previous service for years and never had this problem. I have been trying to contact them for 3 days, all I get is automated email responses. I need that money back to pay my bills. I will not be using them again. Stay away!!!!!
Yet another stitch fix customer sent a box without their consent, and following deactivating my stitch fix order as well. This order has then (so far as I know) never arrived. Their emails were filtered into junk, so I had no idea this was ordered for me until I was billed for 530 pounds. As many others have said, no-one picks up the customer service line and I have not had any reply over email yet.At best this is extremely nasty predatory business practices, and most likely an outright scam.I would strongly advise anyone considering using them avoid at all costs!
I loved Stitch Fix, so was excited to hear that there was an alternative option.I am so disappointed though, my box didn't contain an item that was supposed to be in there, I contacted Outfittery straight away to let them know, no response still 2 and a half weeks later. They have now tried to charge me for this item multiple times. The item was relatively cheap at £35, imagine if it would have been an expensive coat or paid of shoes? I've cancelled my future orders, shocking service.
I was a previous customer of Stitch Fix and was sent a box by Outfittery without ever consenting to one. Not only that, but the box was sent to my old address. I emailed them multiple times to let them know and while they confirmed that the box would be returned without cost, they then tried charging me the full amount (over £600). Thankfully the payment was blocked by my bank. The box was returned unopened to Outfittery and I'm now getting emails saying I owe them £50. This company is a scam and I will be reporting them to trading standards
Yet another 1-star review to add to the pile. I, like others was a stitch fix customer who had details transferred to outfittery. I had actually updated my payment details with stitch fix within the duration, but somehow it was my old bank details that were transferred too. Setting up the app is frustrating being an ex-stitch fix customer and seems to have cycled me in a loop of being unable to set-up an outfittery account. I was starting to get frustrated at receiving this box when I decided to have a look at the items and I did like one item which I decided to keep. Outfittery do not offer any discounts on their items e.g. for multi-buy, but here is my gripe: Outfittery states that they do not charge more than the RRP. This isn’t anything to brag about as RRPs can be set fairly high allowing retailers to offer deals etc. The item I chose clearly states the RRP is £38 on the price tag; yet outfittery charged me £45. I think that is very cheeky! I emailed them to mention about the price discrepancy. I figured they would maybe give me a credit toward another item. Instead they responded saying they are unable to reply right now as they are too busy. Fail!
SCAMThey took my details from Stich Fix (without my consent). Send me £500 of clothes (without my consent). I sent them back and asked them never to do it again. Guess what? They've just done it again. This has to be illegal to charge someone's card for £500 without any consent to even be on a mailing list!Shocking.
I gave Outfittery the benefit of the doubt and totally regret it. I registered to see what they were like. Did the profiling and asked for a box. The box took a month to arrive. When it arrived it seemed like the stylist totally ignored my preferences. So I wanted to send everything back. Except I couldn’t. Because Outfittery hadn’t registered that I had received the goods. I wrote to them and was told to send it back to the factory and it would sort itself out. Well. It didn’t. And now they are trying to charge me for clothes that I didn’t keep.Just avoid.
I recently was moved from Stitchfix to Outfittery. While I generally appreciated my experience with Stitchfix, their selections sometimes missed the mark for me. However, their deals and prices were usually quite appealing. With hopes high, I eagerly tried out Outfittery, only to be left disappointed by the overall service.Let me address the primary issue: pricing. After finding a few items I liked in my box, I decided to keep them. However, upon checking the prices on the tags, I discovered that Outfittery had charged me more than what was listed. This came as quite a shock – I didn't sign up for a service to pay more than I would in a store. I reached out to Outfittery for an explanation but received a terse response after a lengthy wait: "Thanks for your message and sorry for any inconvenience. Different companies have different prices and that is due to many factors." This reply was unsatisfactory and left me feeling frustrated. I expected a clear explanation for the price difference and what these purported "factors" were.Moving on, despite specifying that I didn't want any coats in my box, I still received one. It seems the initial profile setup questions were disregarded, which is disappointing.Furthermore, my partner, who also received a box, only kept one item and returned the rest. However, he was charged for the entire box despite receiving confirmation that it had been sent back and received by Outfittery. As for me, while I returned my box, I'm still awaiting confirmation that I won't be charged for the entire contents.Another issue I encountered was the lack of synchronization between the app and website. I found myself receiving duplicate emails and notifications from both platforms, which was confusing and frustrating. To wrap up, I doubt I'll be giving Outfittery another try. The fact that they charge higher prices for items than what's listed on the tags is concerning, and the lack of transparency regarding these costs is unacceptable. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations, and I hoped for better transparency and service.
