Rating should be negative 5 star.Rip off costly.My son and family live in the USA - it costs £3.50 minimum to send a card, including Christmas cards, and £20 for a small parcel present of M&S socks (which cost £14). I can no longer send cards and presents because I simply can't afford it. This is a real loss for me - and probably many many families in the UK.(The three post offices around me are reluctant or unable to provide a send by surface option).Pricing is way way too expensive - I feel very bitter about this - why ruin a great company I've respected for my 80 years through corporate greed - it's obvious you just want commercial business. Even so, why make your charges so gob smackingly high? I find this offensive, and sad.
Used Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed by 1pm to send important documents to HMRC Inheritance Tax at a cost of £10.25. Never arrived the following day as guaranteed and no tracking online and on one to help! Do not use this service I may as well of used 1st Class post and have no idea where my important documents have gone.
Royal mail 24 turns out to be royal mail when we feel like it. We only seem to get post maybe twice a week even though we know we are due something next day or so but get it maybe 5 days later in a job lot. Royal mail is not fit for purpose.
Paid for an important recorded delivery letter. Handed to the post office counter staff. Never arrived. Tracking says still at post office. Royal mail say they dont know where it is, so presume lost. My 48 hours tracked packagr, has finally arrived today, 8 days after posting. Had email from Royal mail 6 days ago saying delivery expected next day. Obviously did not arrive. No update on tracking so just left in limbo. With such extortinate postal charges I expect a better service.
Can’t understand when a parcel is supposed to be delivered to Nottinghamshire.It starts at Nottingham MC on the 15 th Nov and is now at Tyneside MC today!I’ve got an email to say it’s being delivered today at 9. 30 am to 1.15 pmSurprise surprise no parcel.Why send to Tyneside when it’s started at the place it’s supposed to be delivered to.Ridiculous Royal Mail are dreadful
Awful company, have no post for weeks then delivery man turns up with 1 parcel. Been waiting 2weeks for a 48tracked parcel that still hasn’t come up, when we do finally get post the letters is addressed to a different street. Useless and lazy staff. BOYCOTT royal mail
Been trying to get in touch with someone anyone to find where my parcel is, being using tracking and found it’s being stuck in their east London depot for over a week but unable to talk on phone at the depot or get the machine to understand my tracking no when telling it 2 dozen times This company is horrendous next time if I am sending or receiving post I will make sure that this company is not involved in anyway, the reason I gave them a 1 is because there wasn’t a ZERO
Completely untrustworthy in Caerphilly. On two occasions they have claimed to have 'attempted delivery' when I was three feet from my front door and not the merest sound of a knock. No card left. This morning, between 7.30 am!? and 7.30 pm. At 8.50, they sent a text to say they had 'tried' to deliver my parcel. Again, I was by the door. No knock, no card, and my large dog, who barks at people just passing my gate, made not a sound. Gaslighting.
