Review Time
I am (or more accurately, was) a subscriber to a Podcast on Patreon and paid an annual subscription. It was a good way to support the creators. However, last September Patreon debited my account twice for the same subscription, which I queried straight away. This was acknowledged by customer service but they then proceeded to delay or not respond to my follow up requests. There was always another reason why it couldn’t be resolved. Eventually, over six months later, I received an email to inform me “that this will be our final communication with you regarding your refund request as we have exhausted all available support options in this case.”I had long since given up any realistic expectation of seeing my money, but needless to say I have cancelled all Patreon subscriptions. An awful organisation to deal with.
Their support team is atrocious. They're so quick to take away and punish people that use the site, but won't reply to anything or get around to things for AGES. I'm currently suffering through an unjustified account suspension, in which I've rectified their so-called "issues" which were not issues that broke their TOS, they are simply bigoted and judgemental to the scenes being created, what they claimed the issues to be are not even true, they are going off of assumption. They are taking ages to respond. An absolute nightmare, HIRE MORE PEOPLE FOR THE SUPPORT TEAM OR AUTOMATE IT!
Absolutely negative experience.The creator staff accused me for things they found out of patreon that didn’t have anything to do with any of them just inventing gossip.I asked how my data had been used and treated and got banned instead “for making questions”.This is really dodgy I am sorry. Reported to Patreon helpdesk with the proof of my good faith and was told creators “ban inappropriate people” which was even more offensive as I hadn’t been inappropriate at all.At this day I still don’t know how my data have been used and my social media checked. I really don’t recommend.
Just had an experience. Paid for month subscription. Creator went inactive after 2 weeks. Creator has its money, Patreon has its fee. So in this case I expect automatic equal refund from Patreon but they are saying: "contact creator" which is inactive. Thanks a lot :D
If I could choose no stars I would. I’ve read the recent reviews below and unfortunately our experience is equally dreadful. They denied allKnowledge of my account even though they regularly took our money. Trying to contact anyone to resolve issues is a nightmare spread across many weeks. I think they hope you’ll just give up and go away. My advice- do not touch with barge pole.

I don't even have an account for this. This is the first time I've heard of this app and it took my unborn baby money. I never got an email to inform me about this and I wanna know how to contact a real person from this app to get the money back. I have a month left of my pregnancy and I can't afford random apps thinking they can take whatever they want from unborn my childs bank account. Like wth
i can create page and with in 5 sec my page was remove i can't upload any thing on it, scam websiteand they send me this mail (This is a note to alert you that your Patreon account has been suspended and is pending removal for suspicious activity.) why?
