22/2/2025 I phoned PickMe call centre early afternoon and booked an A/C saloon car for a pickup at 9.30pm from my Nugegoda residence.I received confirmation of booking via their phone App.Alas, at 9.30pm their was NO taxi at my door to take me to BIA Airport Colombo.From 9.35pm onwards I rang their call centre several times being assured that they'll track the driver assigned and send me a taxi ASAP, but no-one called me !!So, while panicking thinking I will miss my flight, I called a taxi myself and got to the the Airport just as the gates were closing!!This caused me so much anxiety.NEVER use this company to go to an Airport, Hospital, wedding or a funeral or any time critical journey.This company is utter rubbish and their Licence should be revoked until they take the CUSTOMER seriously.

They banned me because I asked with help after taxi drives scam

I ordered taxi from Colombo to airport. Price was ok, like 25 USD (dont remember actually). When we arrived, taxi driver rebooted his phone several times and price updated to 45 USD or something. I checked my app, and there was updated price 45 USD. I checked trip map and realized that it was longer for 15 km. I assumed driver took longer way to get more money. I reported PickMe and they immediately banned my account.Cant remember such a scam in years before. True Sri-Lankian experience.

Pick-me company and drivers unreliable and cheaters

So our experience started with what I thought was a rather inexperienced driver, then a issue with the route, we had already had a quote for the ride, when we had finally got to the destination, the driver showed us the cost( we were quoted Rs 6400 but we’re asked pay rs 9100 plus rs 400 for toll indicated that it needed to be paid as he had already advised that the highway was to be used, which also incurred a toll, after about a 20 min debate between his office & the kind boy who did the booking for us, & ourselves out of frustration we just paid, what a crappy experience, being from another country, didn’t want to escalate the situation. Drives name was Charminder. What a absolutely disgraceful way to treat your passengers.

THIEVES WORKING FOR PICKME

The PickMe driver that I used ( SANUJA RAJAPAKSHA) robbed my suitcase of an IPhone and Canadian cash. I was able to get my phone back but not the cash. Pickme is well aware of who the driver is and admitted that this person had taken my phone and cash. The driver even had the audacity to send a friend request on Facebook. A real weirdo.

Very worst customer service.

Very worst customer service.. pick me drivers telling change the fare card to cash.. if not scolding me in bad words.. i called several times to the customer service but didn’t attend the calls.. zero..

Unreliable Service and Terrible Customer SupportI’ve had enough of PickMe’s unreliable service and terrible customer support. Recently, I ordered food using the card payment option, and the amount was deducted from my account. When the rider arrived, he claimed he couldn’t see the payment and demanded cash.I immediately contacted PickMe’s support, and they admitted it was a system issue on their end. They promised to refund my money but never followed through. Despite multiple calls, emails, and providing the RRN number as they requested, I still haven’t received my refund. My bank confirmed no refund has been processed—it’s clear that PickMe is not taking responsibility.This is not the first time I’ve faced such an issue with them. Their customer support team is unresponsive and keeps blaming the bank instead of solving the problem. On top of that, the food I received was of poor quality and didn’t match my order.I’ve now switched to Uber for all my food deliveries, and their service is leagues ahead of PickMe. Payments are hassle-free, support is excellent, and they actually care about their customers.PickMe, you need to fix your payment system and train your customer support team to handle issues professionally. Until then, you’ve lost my trust and my business.

My ride got automatically tipped for…

My ride got automatically tipped for 150 LKr without my consent and I had to pay extra. This is the third time now and I'm disappointed

Absolute scam company

Absolute scam company. Complained that the trip which was booked the night before was suddenly “cancelled” by the driver and then wanted to take me for the same ride at double the price. Called PickMe support and they could care less about the situation. I only discovered after the actual driver was NOT registered with then and was using someone else’s account. I have reported this to the police.
