REFUND!!! Ticket number #33600901You cancelled my services prematurely but took my money, I want my money refunded back to my card. Shady business practices to now completely ignore every ticket I log!!! Your agent calls me, tells me she will speak with her manager and have them call me back and never did. I am a prepaid client and I want my money back!!
My Disappointment with Rain's GeForce Now - It's Gone From Great to UnusableWhen Rain first brought GeForce Now to South Africa, I was really happy. Finally, I could play great games without having to buy expensive computer parts. For a while, it worked really well, and I was telling all my friends about it.But lately, something has gone very wrong. It seems like a lot more people have joined, and Rain just can't handle it. Now, when I want to play after work, I have to wait forever just to get a game going. I'm talking about waiting an hour, sometimes even two hours! This is just not okay. I work during the day, and my time to relax and play games is limited. Waiting this long makes the service completely useless for me.What makes this even worse is that if I try to cancel my subscription, I'm told there's a huge waiting list to get back in later – maybe months, maybe even years! So, I'm stuck paying money every month for something I can't even use properly. This feels incredibly unfair and like a really bad way to treat customers.Look, the GeForce Now technology itself is good when you actually get to play. But the way Rain is running it here in South Africa right now, with these crazy waiting times and this ridiculous waiting list to rejoin, is just not acceptable.I'm so disappointed in how things have become. I was a big supporter of this service, but now I feel like I'm just throwing my money away. Rain needs to fix this problem with their servers and seriously rethink this unfair policy about canceling and rejoining.If you're thinking about signing up for Rain's GeForce Now, please be aware of these serious issues. As for me, I'm stuck and very angry that I'm paying for something I can't properly enjoy. This whole situation feels like a slap in the face to loyal customers.
If I could give zero stars I would. Rain South Africa is one of the most horrible network providers that people should be warned about. They have so far scammed me a lot of money claiming I am owing them. Their call center and that AskRain robot are also in on this syndicate. You will not be assisted and your money will never be returned back to you. As black people we remain oppressed, abused and scammed by those who claim to have authority over black people.I have taken the matter to the ombudsman, public protector, name it I have been there. But you know what the answer has been to date, crickets!! No solution, but money keeps leaving my account without my consent. Since my last review on here 4 months ago, they have not resolved my last issue but continued to take my money. No one called, I have lost so much money trying to sort out this matter with Rain, Rain is the South African villain we were warned about in 1994Wrote a couple of reviews on Hello Peter and Trustpilot 4 months ago. RAIN has proven to be one of the worst service providers I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is non-existent — all they do is log support tickets that never get resolved. You can send message after message, and all you'll get in return is automated responses and empty promises.Due to RAIN’s blatant negligence and sheer incompetence, I lost a cellphone number — something that could have easily been avoided if they had any clue how to properly support their customers. It’s shocking how a company can operate this way in 2025.If you value your time, money, and sanity, do NOT use RAIN for anything other than their WiFi, and even that is hit or miss. I would never recommend them to anyone. You’ve been warned.
Unfortunately my router needed to be replaced, 5 days later I received a new one. Today almost 72 hours later still no connection. The consultants are very helpful but the technical team my rate is 0. Will close subscription at the end of the month.
