we got a router the 23rd for a month rental while our vuma box is been repaird. We could not connect at all at home, and if we did our cell phones was the only thing. Now i canceled it on line, I still dont have a cancelation email confirmation. They billed me for 2 weeks R911 after i was told you will get billed on the 1st of June. When I schedule a call back nothing happens, they never answer. now I have a bill for R911 for 8 days of use. Communication from their side when you have a problem is not nice at all.

The customer service is atrocious. Agents are clueless and cannot assist whatsoever. Haven’t have internet for a while and they still cannot get it fixed. Rain is just a terrible product all in all and I am considering cancelling my plan with them. I would advice you to use other networks!

Their support team is useless

Their support team is useless, and you will only waste your time. There is only a bot on their website, and if you ask to give you a phone number, no one answers. Their slogan is 24/7, which is ridiculous. Do not waste your time with these guys. I am cross with them.They left me alone without connection on Saturday and I am still disconnected. Wish I could rate them 0 starts. Terrible, almost non existance customer service. Made a big mess of my promo month, charged me more than the normal premium and won't assist me. Tried email, calls, social media messages, nothing. Money effectively stolen. Update: I get told now to dm on the social platforms when I have multiple messages already to rain with no response?? I should get a call

I joined rain on the 26th of April, on a “1st month free” promo yet days later I’m asked to pay just over R700. This is false advertisement, You’re misleading consumers and it’s wrong, please fix this, My ticket number is 33304860. I’ve called more than once and still. Their connection is as unstable as my ex-girlfriend

**Short version:** Rain bad. Rain super stinks. Rain connection is as unstable as my ex-girlfriend. **Long version:** We moved to Cape Town with our Rain WiFi and not once — *not a single day* in five months — did we have a stable connection. Dropped constantly. Needed reboots daily like an old Windows 98 PC. Every chat with support was a copy-paste circus of “please run a speed test” or “try rebooting.” Thanks Rain, stellar troubleshooting — I’ll just reboot my life while I’m at it. It got so unbearable that I tried to cancel. Naturally, they made the cancellation process harder than breaking up with a clingy narcissist. The app wouldn’t let me proceed, blocked at every step like I was trying to hack into Fort Knox. Eventually, I had to drag myself in person and force them to cancel like an intervention. They gave us SIM cards with the WiFi. Before cancelling, I actually phoned their support (foolish optimism, I know) to ask if the SIMs would stay active after cancelling the WiFi. “Yes,” they said confidently. Fast-forward — woke up today, SIMs dead. So I called back and sat on hold for an hour, only to have some support agent gaslight me into thinking I imagined the whole thing. Love that for me. **In summary:** Don’t even *think* about it. Rain costs as much (or more) than fibre, delivers a garbage connection, and has a support team that couldn’t troubleshoot a toaster. 1/10. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. Actually, scratch that — maybe I *would* recommend it to my worst enemy..
