Review Time
The customer service was great. Scheduling the pick up was easy and there were many options for delivery date/time availability. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars was that the hauler used for picking up the item did not show up within the 5-hour time frame they required. Because the end of the time frame was after hours as we are on the West Coast and we were not given any contact information for the hauler, we waited 5 hours in vane. But once we heard back from ReSupply, they were committed to finding another hauler and rescheduling as soon as possible, which was appreciated. The second scheduling went perfectly.
While Resupply came out to my apartment quickly to pick up my couch, they did not tell me that the presence of one dog hair would make it ineligible for donation. I thoroughly vacuumed this couch and had 2 other donation agencies say it was perfectly fine to be donated (after looking at close-up photos of the couch), although neither of them could pick it up for 3-4 months (too long for me to wait). When Resupply saw my couch, they said that it couldn't be donated and would have to be recycled thus (conveniently for them) increasing the price for it to be removed. I don't think that I'll use Resupply again in the future.
Donating was so easy. Scheduled online and received confirmation next day that a driver had been assigned. On the pickup day, I received a call from the driver when he was about 45 minutes away. The driver arrived, confirmed the estimate, took payment and then took the items. Driver was courteous and professional. Half the cost of those 1-800 guys and it’s for a good cause.
Jermaine, Jermaine and Steve were terrific to work with! They were extremely pleasant and professional! Although they were a bit behind on the pick up time, they stayed in contact which worked out really well. They have a great work ethic too. Great guys all the way around!!
