I recently used Resupply, Inc. for a furniture donation pickup. Booking was fast and incredibly easy - I appreciated being able to schedule service within 48 hours. The team that showed up was friendly and the pickup itself was quick and efficient.However, the final cost was significantly higher than the original estimate, which was disappointing. I was also charged extra for donating a bed, even though the website clearly states they will “pick up any piece of furniture in your house.” Being told on the day of pickup that they don’t take beds or mattresses felt misleading.Overall, while the service was convenient and timely, the pricing and lack of clear communication left me hesitant to recommend Resupply unless someone needs a last-minute solution during a move.
We Love ReSupply. We have used them twice already - first in South Carolina and now this last time for our home in Maryland. Capital City Movers helped pick up 11 items that ranged from a kitchen table to a porch bench to shelving units. It’s a very efficient process - we just schedule an appointment online, we’re assigned a company who will come and pick up the big furniture items we want to donate and then they will deliver it to your local Goodwill! Tariq from Capital City Movers and his colleague were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time, were very quick in loading our furniture on their truck and confirming everything looked good for Goodwill donation and sent us a receipt right away! The furniture we donated were no longer needed and for a small fee ( much cheaper than if we were to hire a a moving/junk removal company directly), the heavy items were picked up so they can be donated so others can now enjoy them. The process was so easy too! We highly recommend ReSupply and Capital City Movers !
