We were searching for a Tempur bed and needed advice as well as assistance. We could not have been more delighted to have been helped by Holly Ure at Richard F Mackay Ltd. She was utterly brilliant. As well being extremely knowledgeable about the product, its history and manufacture, she was charming, patient and engaging. We couldn't recommend anyone more highly.
Just got my sofa and chair delivered by two cheery chappies Neil and Steve. It makes a difference when delivery guys know what their doing. Will always choose Richard F Mackay over other companies. For service and Quality of furniture they are the best .
Having bought two sofas from R.F.M. February 2025 they were delivered on the 18th of that month.Delivery drivers, (Great Guys) were so helpful, polite and professional.Noting, with one of the sofas a problem, photos were taken by by the delivery driver and myself and passed onto the appropriate department / person.First phone call was 24th February, “they will phone back” but no return call. Endless phone calls (Feb, March and April) asking what was happening!!. and always told the same they would “phone back”. Never Happens.Frustrated, called again 18th April to be told they will speak to the assistant manager and he would call me back within the hour.8 DAYS later (26th April) and still NO PHONE CALL.Member of the family visited the store on the 27th April and spoke with the assistant manager about the situation.Received a phone call from him on 28th April and he will now be dealing with it personally and it will get resolved.It is now nearing the end of June and still heard nothing from R.F.M !! We have been delighted with the informative help we have been given from Richard F Mackay in both the furnishings department and the flooring section. The staff are friendly, professional and well informed. From the point of starting to look for something, through to the delivery and completion, everything has been excellent. It is probably the best service we have had!
Niel & Steve delivered my new couch this morning.Happy lads got on with removing the old unit with no fuss.Quick chat regarding the placement of the new one. Before I'd boiled the kettle the job was done.They both pointed out the fabric swatch under the seat to assist with colour matching in the future ( who knew, not me ).Well done gents 10/10
