I purchased an 8x10 rug from Ruggable. The cost was 660 dollars. I read the return policy and the policy said you would get your money back if you returned it. Within days of receiving it, I tried to return it and they were only willing to give me $550 dollars plus a 25 dollar return fee. They lowered the price, I don't know the exact date, however it was too late as the rug was already in transit. I couldn't believe Ruggable did this. Also, It is impossible to speak with a live person. You first must go through a useless chat bot, then a chat person, who doesn't answer your questions, just provides information on how to return it. So I am out 150 bucks. Writing this to prevent this from happening to you.
BUYER BEWARE. Their rug pad will start shedding black flecks all over your floor when the carpet is pulled apart for washing. I purchased in 11/22 and the rug pad is shedding black material in just a little over a year. Out of warranty, by 2 months. Very disappointed in their rug pad as I expected with the price it would last more than a year. Pads were never washed and the rugs were washed according to directions. The carpets themselves are wearing well, but forget their rug pad.
What an amazing product! I am so happy with my Morris rug in the dining room. It looks so great. I bought the low profile one and it's perfect, because I have upholstered chairs that have wheels on the bottom so the chairs roll easily on this rug. I am frankly surprised at how much I like the rug; I thought the digitalized or not "real" / not real knots would bother me. It does not bother me, it looks fantastic. And, the fact that I can wash it is a huge bonus. I have a heavy wool traditional rug in my living room. It's very pretty, but spills are an ordeal and it is so heavy to have cleaned, etc. And it was an expensive rug. Ruggables are so affordable compared to so many rugs out there. To me it does not make sense to spend 2k-10k on a rug. We walk on rugs and they get dirty no matter what. I ordered a new ruggable for my kitchen. I have had a wool, hand knotted traditional rug there, it gets so dirty, it is gross. I have to wash it way too often and it's a project. I am very happy I will have a ruggable there going forward. I am very excited about this company. So fun to see the new rugs! Yahhhh Ruggable! 🤩
This product doesn’t actually work or fulfill its commercial promise. 1) I can’t wash my 8x10 rug in my normal-sized top-loading washing machine despite that being the entire premise. 2) They don’t send you a full rug-sized pad for the larger rugs, but two that you’re supposed to cobble together. It’s time consuming and super difficult to accomplish, especially solo - it took over two hours, which means I would be loathe to ever remove the rug from the pad to wash it (the ostensible purpose). 3) It’s not actually possible for me to vacuum my rug with my Dyson ball vacuum, as the suction immediately separates the rug out from the pad and creates bubbles. 4) The rug is of cheap quality: it’s thin and the edges constantly curl up. 5) Despite me contacting customer service two different ways (email and Facebook) I only got one answer, ever, which was a form email that didn’t address any of my concerns.
