I phoned about my vacuum cleaner. Although he did resolve the issue. The man was very rude the way he spoke to me. Acted as if I was stupid. The way he spoke he shouldn't be in customer care. This has put me of off buying a shark in future!
Bought a Shark anti Hair wrap Duo Clean Cordless hoover November 2021. Previous Hoover was vax it was cheaper and had lasted 5 years still works. But wanted new one and trusted Shark was good name. Always cleaned filters monthly along with floor nozzle and soft roller as per instructions. Around the year mark things started to go wrong, suction got poorer, then wand became unstable and broke, I noticed wired showing that shouldn't be. I never experienced this with any hoover before, have used VAX and DYSON previously. Rang customer service, they said would replace wand. (five year guarantee) But then had issues with bucket catch sticking, had to really press hard to get it open to empty daily, then noticed when cleaning filters they were saturated with dust instead of just slightly grey tinge from dust monthly normally, again reported, and told last replacement had been good will!! which was never told before and can't allow another??? told was physical damage not mechanical and not covered by 5 year guarantee then told can not speak to manager as they do not pass customers on the managers about this type of thing??? . Really!!! so my point is please do not buy SHARKS go for VAX they are far better quality and alot cheaper especially they're cordless or DYSON bit more expensive but works well after a year even !!!BTW emailed CEO and customer service and no replies so tells you alot about the company and also still got no response as to complaints process... MY ADVICE IF YOU SPEND THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY GO FOR VAX OR DYSON BETTER ALL ROUND
I've never bought a cordless vacuum before so this Shark {Shark Lightweight 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum WV361UK} is my first. I ordered it on 27th at 21.25 and it was delivered by 9.30 on 29th so I was delighted with that and the fact I had £100 off the retail price via Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert email. Its easy to assemble, I charged for just a few hours and was able to try it out - it's just a shame my home wasn't more dusty as it would've come into it's own.I really like the detachable handheld part which I used for the stairs and skirting boards. It's powerful, really lightweight, so compact when stored, easy to clean and with no bags it's more ecological too.I've really enjoyed using it so far and I can wait for a "real mess" to see how well it performs.I would recommend this product and the service from Shark as I can't fault anything.
Ordered a hoover on 27/6/23. Never turned up.I’ve now had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back.Shark are exactly what their name describes ~’Sharks’. They take your money and they don’t provide what they promise. Their customer service is dreadful. I hope this company stop trading and does everyone a favour. How awful.
Broken flexology wands and poor battery lifeThe premium priced cordless stick vacuums have a major design flaw. The hinge of the folding wands are made with plastic. On the replacement parts page on shark there are many reports of these breaking.Also the eco modes are very poor for cleaning. Battery lasts less than 15 minutes on the max mode which is the only mode that cleans. I find these very heavy and too much weight at the top too. Look at the shark website on the page for replacement wands. - lots of unhappy customer. Poor design for a premium price product
Received a shark cordless stick vacuum as a wedding gift and it came with free car detailing kit but the attachment is missing so I contacted customer service and they won't provide attachment with proof of purchase I even offered to pay for attachment but they want to sell me the whole kit poor customer service in my opinion and won't anything else from them I have 3 products from them and this is the last
THIS is my THIRD replacement Wandvac from.Shark...having returned one previously via costco warranty to the costco store.Will add now the wands I've had have been simply used for lightweight cleaning up..nothing at all heavy.It seems after 7 months the battery gives up. The wands do not hold their charge.You must take out warranty via email..a must. Then when the wand stops holding charge emails sent.Then then tell you to ring them. Hard if deaf! And they insist you ring then they speak with you via watts app video and see the issue.They are great at arranging return. But you then have to badger them for the actual replacement.Last replacement has taken 8 weeks.They really do need to sort out replacement issues..when faulty ones returned you shouldn't have to chase them up.But more than anything the wand should last more than 7 months...as it must be costing them to replace them.But when it works its fantastic..the wand. It's just for light weight use such as picking up crumbs from work yoos and stair cleaning..ours are wooden so just average use.
I bought a Shark Stratos Cordless. Excellent delivery and love the vac. The best vac I have ever had. I ordered it with two batteries and I'm glad I did because once I start vacuuming I get carried away and do the whole house. One batteries tends to do one floor of the house.
