Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum, Pet - Refurbished [IZ400UKT] arrived Friday ordered from Shark Refurbished on Ebay we charged as in instructions, no indication whether it actually charged although battery indicator was full, used it briefly twice over two days and then went flat, now it wouldn’t charge at all with flashing red light.What is more annoying we contacted Shark via Ebay on Monday and again on Tuesday, no response at all in the end on Wednesday I submitted a return through Ebay where Shark should respond, nothing again, until Ebay sent a return label Friday PM.In my experience Shark Customer Service have been useless, no response, no apology, I now have to lump this to Royal Mail depot, and wait for a refund.Black Friday seems to be an opportunity for these companies to pass on their rubbish, second item returned in a week.

The vacuum is just plain awful. Suction is next to pointless. Less suck than your granny before she puts her teeth in. I honestly believe an asthmatic with a straw would be able to collect more dust. The anti hair wrap technology is just a big fat lie. Constantly having to take machine apart to cut hair away. It gets blocked, almost every time it is used. So I have to take it apart and clean. I thought the machine was broken so contacted customer services, who I cannot fault. They replaced the whole device without issue. However, the new one is equally as pathetic a device. I wish I had not wasted my money.
So there I was, fresh off a 2-week vacation, my OCD pulsating like a dubstep track, whispering "Clean, you filthy pig! Oink for me!" The stairs, riddled with 14 day old dog marmite mine hair, were the first on my list. Armed with my trusty, corded vacuum, I prepared to reclaim my domain.Halfway up, things took a turn. A rogue raccoon (I swear I’m not making this up) leapt out from behind the bannister, bellowing what I can only describe as an anime battle cry: "ORE WA GROOTO!" Startled, I tripped over the vacuum cord and somersaulted down like a worthless piece of meat I am.The fall wasn’t just physical. My wife decided she’d had enough, packed up the kids, and left me, alone and ashamed my only resolution here was to find my feet again and hit the stairs with the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner IZ202UKT. This beautiful thing about this bad boy, you guessed it, no cord, no large L from the racoon in the future. Giving this a solid 8/10 due to the sheer fact im still salty over my L with the racoon in the first place.
Ok, I have a young son and dog so wanted a hoover that was cordless and could move around the house easily. I can’t compare to other cordless vacuum cleaners but to be honest I wish I’d never paid the money for it, had read good reviews so decided to buy.I was really disappointed, expensive and does not pick up dog hair like previous corded vacuum cleaner. Doesn’t pick up dirt and constant error messages despite regular emptying and cleaning.! To be honest it has put me off cordless vacuum cleaners and this company.
Ordered new parts for my upright corded vacuum cleaner. It’s years old and has never failed me but everything wears out eventually. Customer care were brilliant (Karina) helping me with simple steps and eventually ordering my new parts. Inexpensive replacement parts (who does that these days?) and especially for my old and trusted vacuum. Thankfully there are some things in this world that still have old fashioned values. Well done shark!
