Brilliant Customer ServiceBought a cordless vacuum about 18 months ago which developed a fault.I contacted them today spoke to a lovely lady who was very efficient & new the product. She sent me a link which enabled her to see exactly what the problem was. After inspection she is now sending a replacement part. I am blown away with the service, I have already received an email to say the part has been dispatched all FOC. So lovely to get this type of service from a company.
Shark products are not the only issue, their customer service is truly awful. They’ll scam you at every turn so be ware.The folding mechanism on the lance broke a few months after purchase and limited use. That was in the Covid lockdown and only excise after excuse about replacement part.Very poor and disappointing so best avoid rather than risk the same experience
This is my second Shark cleaner. I have the corded which is excellent and decided to buy a cordless as my current one is not cleaning so well. I placed my order online with delivery to my home address but it has ended up at my local DPD delivery hub as I apparently have this as my default. It is a default for small packages, such as medical supplies and my carer or neighbour will collect for me as I’m disabled. I had completely forgotten about using this hub as my default nor did I know that Shark were going to send it there.An email advised me the day before delivery that it was going there and not to my home address which was used on my online order. Despite calls to Shark and DPD they could do nothing to alter the delivery. I emailed Shark on the 12th of April and received a reply advising my request to resend was under review. Today the 17th I had to phone Shark and the advisor has now past this onto their warehouse. The pick up point is only across the railway tracks, about 7 minutes walk but I can’t expect my carer or neighbour to carry a vacuum cleaner. I cannot understand why, with notice that the delivery couldn’t be brought round to my flat. Despite technological overdrive in 2023 the driver who was to deliver my package couldn’t be contacted or the address altered in the system, especially as it was 24 hours before it was to be dropped off. This is the UK in 2023, nothing works smoothly and this becomes so much more noticeable when you are disabled.UPDATE 21 APRIL 2023. 9 days and absolutely no communications from Shark.
I ordered from the sharkninja website and particularly chose their offer for s cordless hoover with 120 mins runtime at a reduced price. When I received the hoover it was a corded hoover with a reduced runtime but with no explanation. When I contacted the call centre the agent said that the website wasn’t updated and they no longer had this offer so had sent an alternative hoover. My concern was that they hadn’t even let me know snd thought I would just accept it. There were no apologies and eventually after persuasion the agent offered to send an equivalent more expensive hoover and collect the first hoover. This was eventually sorted after 2 further phone calls as it wasn’t clear from messages from the courier company that they would pick up the first hoover and deliver the new one at the same time. On the delivery day there was some confusion with the courier company about delivering the new hoover but this was sorted out.I feel that with such a huge company should have much better Customer Service, so I am disappointed. If I hadnt been a past and very impressed owner of a Shark hoover then this service would have certainly put me off the company and I would have taken my business elsewhere.
bought the shark hand held, very disapointed, it it very flimsy and plasticky, tiny, dust box, and not much use for anything, apart from vacuuming crumbs off the table. A complete waste of money, all hype and no substance.And runs for a whole 8 mins on full charge.
Sharks customer service is 2nd to none !! They listen and very supportive , replaced my faulty hoover no problem!!New parts arrived in 48 hrs am overwhelmed with the service !!One of the best customer services I'Keep up the great work Shark and thanks again .
I received the anti hair wrap duo clean shark as a free replacement for my old cordless one which was a brilliant vacuum.This one now is useless, hair wraps around the head, charge lasts no longer than 45 minutes, filters need cleaning after each use, stick is flimsy and unit that holds the dirt is tiny. Tried customer service, they were useless. Definitely won't be buying a shark in the future.
I bought a Shark cordless IZ251 several years ago and as we keep dogs it has had a hard life and has developed a problem with the sweeper head. I had registered the vacuum when purchased and qualified for the four year extended warranty. I phoned customer service yesterday, less than twenty four hours later I received a brand new head! Brilliant customer service....
I have had a few cordless vacuums over the years and they have been ok !, I have also used the Dyson , which is also good! However if you compare the prices Shark comes in really good value and on the same level. Recently purchased a shark for my daughter and I would definitely recommend over a Dyson.Shark is compatible in performance and certainly costs.
