Never received an item I bought and when I tried to report an issue the order and the company website no longer existed. It was a scammer and I tried to report to Shopify and they told me to contact my payment provider. They just weren’t interested in trying to get this resolved. Do not trust Shopify they support scammers and their customer service is no existent. Disgraceful
I started a £1 trial for a Shopify store. Decided not to finish building my shop part way through and tried to cancel it. Several months passed and I noticed a further £100 (4x£25) of payments taken. I requested Shopify support give me a refund which was passed to the billing team who refused to action any refund. Support agent Jasper had led me to believe the refunds would be issued due to the situation. Disgraceful service from a large company.
Just look at these reviews! This company really doesn't care one bit about its customers. It's hardly even worth writing a review. They have stopped my payments from the sales that I have made for 3 weeks with no explanation leaving my company in financial difficulty. Support is just a shield, not there to help but only to deflect people away!
Never heard of this company or knowingly used them but got a notification this morning from my bank that they took money from me at 02.50hrs GMT. Spent last 20 mins onto my bank reversing the transaction and cancelling my card. Now I have no card for the next 6 days- thanks Shopify 😡
I've been with Shopify since 2007 and would likely be one of their original users.However, I am deeply disappointed with some of Shopify's recent decisions, particularly the deletion of their reviews app and all the customers' reviews. It seems that some bad hires may be the only explanation for these poor choices.They claim they sent two emails warning of this action, which I received neither email.Years of product reviews are gone, and with it, my business.They should have exported the reviews as a CSV file, uploaded them to the store, emailed them to the store owner or both.How can a company that focuses on e-commerce not understand the value in the content of those reviews and take such destructive actions without any simple contingency plan? It beggars belief.
I'm not going to be helpful and constructive - that isn't how this review thing works - but I will tell the truth. After extorting $9 a month out of me to stop my currently dormant site being deleted by Shopify, they then inform me that the only useful plug in which enabled me to send orders direct to a drop ship printers has been removed from the Shopify platform. Then an online assistant said she could reverse this, then cut off our conversation mid-flow. I would rather exfoliate the head of my old chap with a pumice stone than spend a brass farthing with them and I suggest that you the reader avoid them like the plague. I could just about cope with having to pay every time I wanted some simple 'to be expected for $29 a month' services - but I'm not having this - so Foxtrot Oscar Shopify - I hope to see Tobias selling himself in skid row sometime soon.
