Review Time
Within a day of taking payments they closed my account lucky for me my payment was through PayPal and managed to get the money back as the company was saying they closed my account had prove of email that it was them who closed it.. please don't use Shopify they are scamming alot of people
I keep receiving emails from them and it is impossible to get past their auto bot to get them to remove my email address from their database. If you click on unsubscribe on the email it takes you to one of their stores. Absolutely disgraceful that you cannot contact them.
I was just checking out a website for a product I saw advertised in a reel, next thing I knew I had an order placed!I didn't fill I'm my name, address, credit card info, it was all done by shopify! But I didn't even sign in with shopify! I used my email address to subscribe for free shipping and they must have automatically logged me in?Funny tho, when I logged it to try to cancel the order, I had to wait for a code to be sent to my mobile, but no code needed to sign me in AND proceed with a purchase?The only thing I can call this is a scam to get more money out of ppl, after reading the other reviews I know for sure!
Built a Shopify store, can't connect to a bank account, sent in ID docs and they ask me to send again and again my bank had no problems checking the driving license for a recent check. Tech support are fricking useless, endless excuses, say it will be sorted immediately. 4 days of contacting support and getting nowhere. No way in hell would I trust this incompetent company with my online business. They have great marketing and advertising but customer support is shocking and the system doesn't even work. Whats the point of having an online store that cant accept payments !!!Avoid like the plague
Shopify are Thieves. i had endless problems with money being taken from me even though i cancelled subscriptions. it is so difficult to receive refunds even through Paypal. as soon as they have your details they take whatever they like any time they like.
Up until recently I had no problem with them. However I was trying to make a new website and took advanctage of the £1 offer, then decided not to make a new website, i was told that as long as there was no new website made I would not get charged. I already have an existing website with them. They have taken £25 for the website I do not have and now want paying for the one I do have. No one gets back to you and I spent hours on the chat trying to sort it out the other week. My bank took the money back but Shopify disagreed with them and took it back again. They seem to be scamming every one judging by the reviews.. I will take my website else where if they do not sort this out. I will also be suing them for loss of business if I can not access my account as I am not paying them twice.
Absolutely dreadful platform, stay clear. They support knock-off companies selling fake gear and it’s not possible to complain on their website, they have the worst chatbot that just prompts you to open a store - absolute rubbish, will never buy anything on this platform again, stick to the masters and go ebay.
I detest this company I used them once to make a payment on another companies website since then I'm automatically detected when making payments I don't liek how they operate they have all my personal information & I can't remove it I have tried contacting them but it's virtually impossible to make contact with a human!
