Rubish, signed up tried to setup shopify payments, been waiting 7 DAYS for them to fix a problem, that apparently is simple. Then some idiot closed my shop down, no confirming or data protection. Absolute joke, thinking of staying with prestashop and just paying for modules.
Discovered a scammer using the Shopify platform, reported it to them 3 times, all that came back was a standard cut and paste reply, reported it to them on their twitter account and even when they are called out publicly they do absolutely nothing. Looks like as long as they are getting their cash each month they don’t care one jot who operates on their platform, disgusting lack of accountability. If I was ever considering setting up an e-commerce site I wouldn’t touch Shopify with an extremely long barge pole.
Shopify are truly hopeless, they make up any nonsense in order to avoid checking what changes they have made to the platform that are causing issues for users. You pay for a service and then are treated with contempt. Better to avoid this platform and move to another.
Needs shutting down ordered something never received it said they refunded me & they haven’t can’t contact anyone, then ordered something else didn’t realise it was threw these again ordered not arrived & can’t get threw to anybody thank god they was small amounts
This is just another case of a woke Marxist ideology-driven company. I'm so fed up dealing with these simpletons that get paid for being simpletons. It's the same with Facebook and Google, I would like to migrate to another platform but this ideology and stupidity are everywhere. God Help Us! I wish that I lived in Russia. They got rid of Marxism and turned back to God decades ago.
Keep getting spurious and unprompted 'verification codes' purporting to come from Spotify. Having spent almost an hour searching around for a useful customer (i.e. end-customer) support contact route, I gave up and did a general search for this problem. Promptly ended up in yet another 'community forum' where there were repeated instances of this problem. It seems that I have now successfully removed my number from the relevant Shopify database; but many people found that the web form offered would not accept their phone number. What annoys me most is that Shopify say that they have no evidence of any spoofing attacks when the number of instances reported in their own community fora prove the contrary. For me, this calls the overall level of IT competence and data security of Shopify into question and I will not be dealing with them again.I will also be advising against their use when retailers are looking for online platforms.
