Terrible WiFi coverage, won't return.

The WiFi coverage is awful; I won't be using this service again. I actually get better coverage by using my phone's 4G hotspot throughout the house. If you're not in the same room, the WiFi is nearly useless. Avoid this option; it's not worth the marginally lower price, and the support team does not provide any assistance.

Concerning the broadband service

Concerning the broadband service, it has been one of the poorest experiences I've encountered in the UK. I have been a customer for over two years. This month, my broadband stopped working, and when I reached out for assistance, they made no effort to resolve the issue, simply stating that someone would come by, but no one did. I called for five consecutive days, only to be told that my issue was under review. I was left without broadband for eight days, which was extremely frustrating, yet they seemed indifferent to my situation. I requested a refund for the days without service, but my account was still deducted. Attempts to follow up on this matter were met with the same response: someone is reviewing the issue. I've never experienced customer service like this before. I strongly advise against using this broadband service or their TV offerings. Please report these issues to prevent others from facing similar problems. This has been the worst broadband and TV experience I've had in the UK.

Disappointed with the service after two years

After being a customer for two years, with my renewal approaching on 17 December 2025, I reached out to negotiate a better deal due to my reduced work hours. I called three times, but instead of a reasonable offer, they proposed a broadband increase to £34, which is unmanageable for me. Each time, they either suggested a more expensive package or alternatives that were still pricier than my current plan. Eventually, I called a fourth time to let them know I wouldn't be renewing my contract. I've since found another provider who is ready to take me on. Shortly after, I received an email from them offering a cheaper contract, but it's too late. They really don't seem to listen to their customers.

I just signed up to an improved broadband package with Sky, the full fibre 150 package to be precise

I just signed up to an improved broadband package with Sky, the full fibre 150 package to be precise. I have been with Sky for over 20 years but a while ago I started experiencing difficulties with the WiFi connection upstairs. I live in a modest sized 3 bedroom house with wooden ceilings and stud walls, so connecting to WiFi should never be an issue. I was sent a booster, for which Sky began immediately charging me £7.50 a month for. I think it is disgraceful to charge a monthly fee for something, that it is more than reasonable to assume, should be automatically available on a standard fibrr broadband package. I cancelled this when I realised that I was actually being charged for being able to access WiFi upstairs. I have just been on the phone with a Sky broadband technician. He proceeded to tell me that Sky only guarantee the speed coming into the router, they don't guarantee a WiFi connection. For me to have that I would have to take out a further subscription package called WiFi Max at £10 a month!! I believe Sky are fully aware of their router limitations and use this to garner more subscription fees feom customers.
My advice to anyone looking for a decent fibre broadband provider is to avoid Sky like the plague!! It may look like a good deal on paper but to get the speeds and WiFi connection they boast about requires separate packages. All in all its just not worth the hassle. Gangsters!!

Do Not switch to sky broadband

I wish I would have read these reviews before I switched to sky broadband! DO NOT switch to them if you are considering it. Nothing but trouble from start to finish, from digging up the front of our garden, 4/5 engineers on separate occasions due to blockages/ people not having the correct equipment. Must have lost about 4 hours of our time on the phone trying to get through and being promised a call back and never have. We have been without internet now for two weeks and no end in sight. Disgusting customer service. My household has 3 sky mobile contracts and sky tv and I feel like cancelling them all due to how we have bern treated.

Excellent service online and from the engineer

Our broadband signal had become erratic and I couldn't find answers on the website so asked to speak to customer service . The person allocated to advise me came on the line quickly and couldn't have been more helpful. She analysed our problem quickly, took me patiently through the steps to reset the router, and decided that we needed to see an actual engineer. He came the following day (!) with a new router and wall socket. He was very kind and courteous and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Our signal is much improved and seems to be consistently steady which it was not before. Sky's customer service couldn't have been better, in our view.

Shame I cant give zero stars

Shame I cant give zero stars. Awful service, no help from their customer service. My broadband was supposed to be up and running on 21 july - its now 6 December and still don't have it. Made loads of phone calls to them and they are apologetic but don't actually action anything to make it happen. I've had messages from them at 4.30pm for an engineer vist the next day -how do I sort out time off work with that short notice, totally unreasonable? When I check the app it tells me I don't need to be at home but get calls from engineers to ask me if I'm around as they need to get into the house. I've phoned them and they've told me that they will arrange a particular date and as soon as I hang up I get an email to say that the visit cant be re arranged. They are abysmal. If anyone has got to the end of this rant and is still thinking of signing up with them, I urge you to avoid them at all costs. There are plenty of other service providers out there - use one of them!

Non repayment of exit costs from previous supplier

I was offered a repayment of my exit fees from BT if I switched to Sky Boardband. I was nervous as the exit fee is £190 but I was told all I need to do is send my final statement from BT to an email address and my account will be crdited. I have sent the final BT statement and I am now being asked for a copy of a bank payment to prove I ahve paid my bill. My Direct debit will not be taken for another 10 days and I wrote to say that wtjhis was not what I was asked to to. Correxpondence is being handled by an AI agent and not a human so I am getting nowhere. Very trustrated an annoyed, will probably cancel in the cooling off period
