Review Time
Went to the store in Morrisons Lincoln. Got there 20 mins early and had my pre exam straight away. Then told to wait to see optician. After about 20 mins I noticed the que was extremely long and not moving at all in front of me so asked if I would be seen on time as I was on my lunch break. Was then told no chance as they were running at least 30 mins late. Good job I asked as the information was not given to me. Had to leave as couldn't wait as could see the que wasn't moving at all. If you give an appointment time then stick to it or inform people as soon as they arrive.
I bought new glasses in Worthing store and on collection everything seemed OK. I left the store and on returning to my sons car and inspecting the glasses found a small scratch in the left lens. I immediately returned to the store and they agreed to replace the lens. I agree that is fine but their quality control is severely lacking. After all I paid £500. The owners of specsavers live in the channel Isles in some luxury, no wonder.
The staff were very friendly from the moment I walked through the door. I didn’t have to wait long before I had the eye test. The optician explained in detail how my eyes were and put my mind at ease as I thought I might be starting with macular degeneration. Friendly staff helped me to choose my new glasses I only had to wait a week before my new glasses were ready for collection. I would definitely recommend Specsavers.
