Despite the fact I received a supposedly brand new TV, I was not happy at all with the steps I had to take to get a satisfactory answer to my issue. Then once it was supposedly resolved, I get a TV that has a whining in it when people are talking. Sounds like there is a bee or some type of bug in my house when the characters are speaking. However, because your policy is that I could not have a warrantee on the so-called new TV, I have to settle for a TV, that might not be freezing while watching a program or blacking out, it now makes a funny noise with most of the shows that I watch.I always purchase additional warrantees when I purchase products in person or online, but I will not ever purchase a warrantee through this protection plan again. I feel cheated.
The claim process was quick and easy. Excellent turnaround time from shipping, repairing, and receiving. The repair looked good upon receipt. Time will tell to see if it holds up. I worked in IT for a public school district and processed multiple claims, daily for student device repairs. I was able to make a good comparison. I recently purchased another laptop and chose to purchase from Costco again to take advantage of this insurance opportunity and the 3 years it covers.
