Claim denied for faulty laptop

These allstate protection plans for ebay electronics seem to be nearly worthless. After an online claim, call, being funneled to a text conversation, and another call, I was finally told that due to my laptop have a loose charging port that the entire warranty was void and that they would do nothing. It seems they have included every provision possible to avoid having to pay out claims, even though my laptop was barely used and had charging port issues since the day of purchase.

When I purchased the warranty I dud not…

When I purchased this warranty, I didn't think it would come down to be short paid. The amount should be either 57.17 or 68.95...I think.the amount of time and effort by myself and my brother was too much..The time has come to fix the errors and take care if me.. Looking forward to hearing from this company and fixing the mistake. I am very uncomfortable with the time and phone calls to try and get this solved..Barbara Sickler

i purchased a 400 dollar office chair…

i purchased a 400 dollar office chair in april of 2020. bought a 2 year protection plan. the plan clearly states it starts immediately after the manufacturer warranty exp. the chair has a 5 year warranty. im no rocket scientist but that would mean april of this year the standard warranty exp. anf i have untill april of 2027 till the protection plan exp. just got an email from my plan saying this."We reviewed your receipt. It shows a 2 years) Protection Plan purchased on (04/18/2020). It expired on (04/18/2022). This is why the plan is not active in our system."they are trying to tell me the protection plan started the same day i bought the chair .here is an update to the dealings with this fraudulent company "squaretrade\allstate.i went on chat and talked to prinya and his boss sommaya niether of these two would read back to me the statement in office maxs "protection plan brochure" that clearly states this"WHEN DOES MY COVERAGE START?STANDARD PLANS (does not include accidents ) SquareTrade coverage begins immediately after the manufacturer's warranty expires"its to bad i cant upload this image as to proof of what it shows. what i posted is word for word what it says" i then called and talked to a woman who also repeated the same crap. they are either trained to avoid repeating the text or they are incompetent'. to prove this hector then made this offer. {if they were right and i was wrong why admit it with this?My name is Hector with the SquareTrade Corporate Resolutions Team, and I am reaching out regarding your Trustpilot review. I would strongly suggest this terminology be removed if it has not already, as it is very deceptive at best. 95% of people purchasing this plan will not read the small print in the " protection plan terms and conditions" and while i did and also have an attorney look at this ,it is very vague as when the exact time of plans starts. however it is very clear in the brochure exactly when the coverage starts , his reply My name is Hector with the SquareTrade Corporate Resolutions Team, and I am reaching out regarding your Trustpilot review. Please allow up to six business days for delivery.Thank you.Hector G.i waited till the check came and deposited it as i do not trust anyone from this company . " your in good hands with allstate" im sure you all remember this phrase. never again will i buy anything from these incompetent people.
