It’s not even worth one star. The customer service is a disaster. They are not helpful at all and they don’t reply customer-friendly. They answer next to the issue and do nothing to resolve the problem you’re dealing with. You have to solve it yourself, so I don’t recommend ordering at &Other Stories. Terrible experience!!
If I could I would give them 0 stars.Their customer service is not at any help and they are stalling the process again and again. I returned a knit jumper over 2 months ago. I had worn it one time and the sleeve was broken. Since I send the item back to them I had heard nothing and customer service is not able to help.It is a really unprofessional “service” and there is absolutely no help to get.Stay away from their Onlineshop.
& Other Stories is the name they should give their customer service team! No help whatsoever! Delay after delay after delay but they can’t do anything because the order is somewhere in the warehouse but they can’t tell you where! Avoid at all costs if you value money, time and your sanity
Due to their glitch on the website transaction/ order appeared not processed. It was a 404 page after clicking pay. This would make any person assume it didn’t go through. Also no one diste order confirmation email so even more reasons to assume it didn’t go through. It addition I used a card which didn’t have a transaction showing. Went ahead and made a sublimate order ( removing two items) and processed again and this time all was okay. In the morning I woke up to two emails on orders and also on two different bank accounts. Other stories and klarna save your bank details and by the looks of things if one card doesn’t go through they somehow decide to attend to other cards of your previously used. Surely this is against the law as it has not been authorised for you to do. Due to their own glitch now I’m with two orders. I contacted support imediately within 24hrs and on Facebook they told me I can sod off they won’t be doing anything but sending to me both. On emails they are ignoring me with zero response. Other stories in Europe are scamming people but in Uk they are actually ok. It’s disgusting behaviour and you just lost a customer not that you care.
I bought a nice shirt in Copenhagen when we visited over a weekend. Once at home I discovered that the alarm was not removed. I called and then say I have to return it to the store! I wanted to ship it back and get a new but no. And there is no compensation. Their mistake, my responsibility to take action. Totally hopeless customer service. No more products from them. Pitty though, since I like their stuff......
I returned a dress via Evri, heard nothing and had no refund, contacted Stories customer care via email, since then I’ve been round in circles trying to get my money back. They told me they processed the refund on 3rd October and that I had to wait 30 WORKING days for it to go back into my bank, this has expired with no refund, I contacted them again and have been asked to wait another 10 days. I have never, ever been treated so poorly by any retailer and I’m livid.
Wish I’d read the reviews earlier in my Stories customer journey. Really sad experience when trying to rectify a faulty product. Utterly unhelpful and not at all sympathetic. Only solution given was to travel a 5 hour return trip to the store I purchased it from- despite the necklace being not fit for use. I wasn’t after a return, I loved the product, I just wanted it repaired or replaced so I could continue to wear it. I even offered to pay any postage. I never expect their jewellery to last forever- it wears quickly and is pretty cheaply made. But for £35 I expected more than two wears out of it. Several encounters with customer service have left me feeling sad and despondent. I’ve loved this brand for years but will not shop here again.
If you purchase an item in store, it must be returned in person. Having visited New York City and shopped, I decided that an item was not approprite for me. I talked to customer service and it was said that all store purchaed must be done in person. Nevermind that this is a major tourist area. If you buy on line, then it can be returned. As a tourist, I am out a considerable amount of money. Totally do not understand this approach. Not likely I will ever shop again.
5 days after placing an order received an email which stated they are experiencing delays and it will take longer for the order to arrive (no mention of that at the checkout to give people an option to shop in-store). At the time of the email, my parcel was not even processed so I reached out to the customer service straight away to ask to cancel an order as it was obvious it wouldn't arrive in time for the occasion it was required for. Was told that the parcel was already being processed so cannot cancel the order now (I find it hard to believe because after they "processed the order" half an hour later it took another 3 or 4 days for the courier to pick it up- would be useful to actually have an option to cancel). Parcel didn't arrive by the second promised day either so I informed the customer service again that the parcel is no longer required to which they replied to reject the parcel when the delivery is attempted and it will be sent back to them. Which is exactly what my family member did when the delivery was attempted. How was I surprised that a week or so later, instead of getting a notification of a refund, I was informed by the customer service that the parcel was delivered to my house when noone was there.... And left in the garden in the rain for 5 days before I was able to get it after arriving home from holidays - maybe worth considering a better courier than Evri, which is the cheapest and the worst courier out there, would expect better from a brand like yours. Bear in mind, at this point I was already having back and forth conversations with them for almost 2 weeks telling them that I don't need the parcel anymore as they didn't deliver it by either the 1st or the 2nd promised date. I didn't even bother opening the package in case it was damaged by the rain and emailed them to sort out the collection... Over a week later and several emails after they promised to arrange a collection, I had to return it in store today as the customer service is not responding now and haven't arranged the promised collection. There has to be a better way to deal with the mistakes that you cause than using basic scripts like: "accept my apologies but...." And judging by the previous reviews, it seems to be a reoccurring theme. It's a shame really because I used to shop with &other stories before and genuinely had one of the best quality clothes from them that last years but this situation really left a sour taste in my mouth and put me off shopping with them ever again. It also seems to be the same in store, they used to have a lot of people shopping in them years ago but now even on Saturdays the stores tend to be empty yet the staff somehow still looks so drained and unhappy to be there. Shame really but not worth the money spent.
