Avoid.

Avoid.I too made the mistake of not looking at these reviews and joined the long list of would be customers waiting for goods or a refund.5th. October, I placed an order for a door glass, glue and sealing ropes and received confirmation emails from stoveglass-direct immediately and an email linking to Hermes parcel tracking.Nothing turned up and no communication.18th. October, I sent an email asking why goods had not been sent and phoned the following day, having to leave a message on the answer phone.I received no reply to either so on 22nd. October I sent an email and posted a letter asking for a refund.A week later, having received no reply and no refund, I began investigating getting a refund via Paypal.On the 29th. October, Hermes tracking said that they now had the parcel. Perhaps the refund request caused this.1st November. The parcel was delivered.For obvious reasons, I considered refusing to accept delivery but didn't want the ensuing hassle. Also I have bought and fitted a glass from Rangemoors, which was ordered Friday and delivered on Sunday. Excellent service!I am considering myself lucky as I have actually received the goods which is apparently better than what happens to a lot of customers.I also feel extremely sorry for the company “stoveglassdirect”, without the hyphen. Their reviews show happy customers and surely having a name so similar to Mr. Richard Musgrove's hyphenated company will damage their sales and reputation.

Appalling company

Appalling company - Avoid at all costs. Ordered a new glass for stove, took money there and then even sent an e mail stating despatched with a tracking number ( fake) then no response, no delivery , no contact . e mail ignored, calls ignored . RIP OFF .Luckily paid with Visa so they can now do them some damage hopefully

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered door glass 2 weeks ago, the money was taken on the same day but no delivery. I have tried to call many times but they don’t answer the phone and it transfers to a full answer machine. Email is not responded to. I have requested a refund from my credit card company and I have contacted the police.

Scammers!

As per the other reviews, I too stupidly put my trust in an online company without reading reviews first.Placed an order for stove glass over two weeks ago and they happily took payment. Nothing has arrived and no answer to emails or phone calls. Why are these scammers still allowed to trade?Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid this company !!!

I am gutted I didn't see the reviews before ordering some replacement glass for my woodburner. They took my money and my order and now 2 weeks later I can't get hold of them. They don't reply to emails or answer the phone.Avoid this company at all costs!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. As previous reviewers found, we placed an order which was not delivered for 2 months despite repeated requests. When it was delivered the delivery note stated glass was shaped (as was ordered) however glass was actually just rectangular which obviously won't fit. Company does not answer the phone and does not respond to emails.

Would not order anything from this…

Would not order anything from this company. I ordered replacement glass. Whilst I did (eventually) receive my order, it took about a month to arrive. Do not attempt to call or email this company as they do not answer their phone and don’t acknowledge or respond to your email messages. Overall, extremely poor service.

DO NOT USE- THEY ARE THIEVES! WHY ARE THEY STILL BEING ALLOWED TO TRADE. WISH I HAD CHECKED TRUST PILOT BEFORE BEING SCAMMED. WHY HAS THEIR WEBSITE NOT BEEN TAKEN DOWN? As soon as this fuel problem is sorted, I am going to turn up on their door and not only demand my order but compensation as well and I will not leave until I get both. Addition to my review, after emailing them again, to say I can arrange for someone to collect, my order just turns up albeit 4 weeks late. This makes me question, would I have got my order if I had not been so persistent?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS IT A SCAM

This company is just out to take your money and not send out your order. I've email them 3 times left answer phone messages and had no reply. The other thing is they must be doing this to loads of people because sometimes to can't leave a answer phone message as the voice mail is full so there definitely seeing the messages but are just ignoring them!!! Nothing but scumbags!!!
