DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-Wish I’d read the reviews. They are quick to take your money - but I have never received the glass. Tried several times to email - no answer. If you ring it just goes to ‘ answer machine is full’ . I am now trying to get my money back via the bank
This company is a scam and should not be confused with the genuine "Stoveglass Direct" NOTICE NO HYPHON. if you look at the companies house records Stoveglass-Direct is reported as a "Dormant Company" not having traded since incorporation. I like others placed an order in good faith beliving that it had been placed with StoveGlass Direct NO HYPHON whose web site they have copied with minor changes. Stoveglass-Direct take your money and just dont send the goods or respond to e mails and their phone always goes to an answer phone saying that the "Mail Box is Full" I intend reporting them to Trading Standards as what they are doing is I belive fraudulent.
Same experience as others! Money taken . Dispatch sent next day . Nothing arrives No way of communicating. Got in touch with my bank after giving them over 4 weeks . Goods suddenly arrive once I’d been in touch with my bank for a refund. Bank are now taking the money back and I’m left with a piece of glass no longer needed ! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE USELESS. IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD.Ordered 10th March, email confirming shipment 11th March. No goods received despite phone calls and emails. Phone calls unanswered, message box full!!!Commenced chargeback and received refund from bank 29th March. Items then delivered 1st April although Hermes site still shows "item expected". Understandably bank has now debited the refund. Clearly my experience is similar to countless others, indeed many remain out of pocket. I stress again, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING, THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES.
I would also leave a 0 Star Rating if possible. I ordered my goods 16th Jan 2021, they debited my Credit Card immediately and then I couldn't get in contact with them. As it was cold and I needed to get my Wood Burner working, I sourced the stove glass I needed from another supplier. I got around to raising a dispute for this with my Credit Card company around the 23rd March and amazingly my goods suddenly arrived (so only about 2.5 months after the initial order placement). As you can't communicate with this company I've reluctantly decided to keep the glass as I only foresee even more hassle if I were to attempt returning it back to them. I really haven't got the time for that (who would?). Please take my advice and stay well clear of this company.
