Review Time
Very bad quality of service I am really disappointed, second time in a row with wrong order and late delivery, the app will change the time as they like to make it seem that the order isn’t delayed! After sending complaints the response was really erupting!! I’m moving to other apps.
This happened with Talabat Qatar. I had to return an electronic item that proved faulty after less than 24 hours. The shop I had ordered from through the Talabat app approved the return and the refund... that's when the problems began. The Talabat app did not show any refund and the specific order said "no refund available", "no return available". There is no phone number to call Talabat - you have to raise an issue and message on a specific order - which in this case I couldn't because those options were not available. The original shop were able to get Talabat to phone me and I then spent two and a half hours talking to various Talabat agents (as well as the original shop who Talabat blamed at first) about this issue. Each agent proffered a different solution and each one urged me to give them five star for their service when they had "resolved" the problem. None of their "solutions" worked; two of them blamed the shop and said they had not issued the refund (I believe the shop who categorically stated they had done this to Talabat); one of them hung up on me after a frustrating 25 minutes; one promised they would issue me with a voucher I never received and one suggested that the "financial department" were so busy with so many refunds they had not gotten around to mine yet - surely it's largely automated? The 'live messaging' relies on them pasting in a number of inappropriate messages while one explains the problem to them (e.g. "I would do the same in your place," ?!). So Talabat have quite illegally held onto my €70 for almost a week now with no sign they will return it. Talabat works well as a middle-man for simple grocery and food delivery, but if anything goes wrong you can expect the poorest customer service I for one have ever encountered. A disgrace.
Horrible customer service, order was cancelled 5 minutes before delivery after waiting for more than 90 minutes for it, very rude guy on the live chat. Order was cancelled through a message and offering me 3 vouchers as a compensation, surprise is: I can’t use these vouchers 😂 embarassing
