Pathetic service from Talabat

I am very unhappy with the pathetic delivery service of Talabat. They have disappointed me so many times. The last time was on 4 October when we ordered food from Al Baik. We ordered 2 meals that each had 2 burgers. When the order arrived very late after waiting more than an hour. The one meal was missing one burger. We phoned the delivery driver about it. The rude jerk just said don’t phone me, complain to talabat. Tried to complain on the app. The complaint function on app is not working. There is no customer support number to call. Which is pathetic. My wife send an email to customer support. Till to date not even an acknowledgement of the complaint. Talabat should re evaluate their company. Their current attitude and incompetent staff will cause there long time customers to leave them and move to their competitors. Wake up and smell the coffee.

I had a terrible experience with Occasions

I had a terrible experience with Talabat and Occasions. I ordered and paid for a 1.5 Kg birthday cake, but what was delivered was only 1 Kg. This is nothing short of cheating the customer.Birthdays are special occasions, and instead of making the day better, this mistake caused frustration and embarrassment. If a customer pays for a certain product, they deserve to receive exactly what they ordered — not less.This level of negligence is unacceptable. If Talabat and Occasions cannot ensure accuracy, honesty, and basic quality checks, then customers should think twice before trusting them for important events. I will not be ordering from them again unless this issue is addressed properly.

I’ve given Talabat multiple chances

I’ve given Talabat multiple chances, but this has been beyond frustrating. For the last six orders in a row, my experience has been terrible. Either the food never arrives at all or it shows up extremely late—well past the expected delivery time. Every time, I end up waiting and wasting my time with no accountability from the company.This is not a one-time issue—it’s a pattern. Six consecutive failures show a complete lack of reliability and customer care. For a food delivery app, the most basic expectation is to actually deliver the order on time. Sadly, Talabat has failed every single time.Very disappointing. I will be switching to other apps that actually respect their customers.

Feels like a scam – stay away from Talabat

This company is a disgrace. I placed an urgent order for essential items for my baby. After 3 hours of waiting, support lied to me saying the driver would arrive in “10 minutes” and even pressured me to give a 5-star rating. One hour later, the order was canceled without warning. No delivery, no accountability, nothing but wasted time and stress. Unacceptable, misleading, and the worst customer experience I’ve had.

I got very bad food that I ask for refund. The refuse to give me the money that I pad for that food. I just put in garbage. They if ask picture because they don't believe the customer. Insane

Remove your 'going the distance just…

Remove your 'going the distance just for you message' as you've been going the distance for years but you just want to increase your fees as usual.If you wouldn't go the distance you'd lose business because your competitors are delivering without telling us that we should be grateful and thankful.

Expensive prices and incompetent management

The estimated delivery time is a LIE and the additional charges are higher than the order’s price and on top of all of that you receive your order late and messed up and their riders can cuss you out and the management will tell you to stop complaining

Bad customer service

Bad customer service, missing food, i ordered 3 biryanis and got only 2, once called their response was only apology but they are not bothered that customer lost their time and missing food to be adjusted with whatever food we get, Talalbat agent seemed not much bothered

I was charged wrongly of AED 100/- by the app. For 4-5 days morning evening lodging complain. No one helped me out. Lost my money. Very unreliable with non supportive customer service being a pro member was cheated.

Customer service become fully automated means no human , no window for contact or complain , drivers decide to stop in the middle , food reach cold , no refund , talabat is not option for food delivery
