Review Time
I placed an order from a restaurant in Dubai through Talabat, and the experience was unacceptable. The order took much longer than the estimated time on the app. After waiting over 40 minutes, I called the driver, only to be told he was just on his way to pick up the order.When the food finally arrived, not only was one item missing, but the entire order was in a horrible state — it was literally frozen and completely inedible. We had to throw it away.I contacted Talabat to complain, and after about an hour, they called back just to apologize and offer a refund of only AED 15 for the missing item. I had paid AED 125 in total, and the issue wasn’t just the money — it was about the complete lack of respect and care for a loyal, regular customer.This level of service is unacceptable. I’ve deleted the app and will now use Deliveroo or any of the many other food delivery apps out there that actually value their customers.
i have been using talabat for 3 years now and when i got a food order that was a complete trash full of salt and uneatable i texted the resturant and they said the issue is with talabat and they told me 30 minutes and u will get full amount refunded and they banned me off their customer service right after and i can never text anyone again and status on order is that i cant refund it again
I'm talabat customer for more than 6 years but what happened today will me cancel my account with them.I ordered from McDonald's through Talabat today, and it was a very disappointing experience. When the order arrived, the apple juice had spilled all over the bag, soaking the fries and completely ruining the food. I took photos and submitted a complaint right away.When I explained what happened, I was asked if I had the paper receipt. I had already thrown away the entire bag, not knowing I would need to keep it — especially since I have the electronic receipt.Later, I was told that nothing could be done. So not only did I receive a ruined meal, but I also lost the money I paid.Very poor customer service. I won’t be using Talabat again.
I have orderd item without flavour.. a wrong item was received with flavour ,which I do not use. On 1 st contact they promised to send refund..nothing was sent.. on contacting them again no response for 3 days then they say there financial department refused to refund, and it is the same item. Although very clear, what I have ordered and what I have received.. and now they are blaming me why you did not write a comment on order send without sent... If I have found the order, which i want, why do i have to write a comment.. there was an item with flavour and item without flavour and i have choosen the one without flavour.. they took my money and sent the wrong item, and they refused to change or to refund..and they telling me use what you have received .. zzI can not tolerate the smell which they have sent and I will not use it.. there mansger was rude talking to me as they say you have no other option and we will not refund you.. ithecompanies apologies if they send a wrong item and they refund money. Talabat greocary fooling us as customer and take our money to send diferrent item what they have in there store ( this what customer service said, it is only available on our store)
