We didn’t have the best experience when we visited Teamsport Birmingham the other day as me and 6 others had booked a adult only racing session which when we arrived we found out that was a lie as our session had 6-7 Junior drivers with no karting experience whatsoever.It then took around 2 full laps under yellow flag conditions until the whole groups ( around 16 people) passed their braking test in the pits. When everyone completed this however, the session consisted of several red flags due to crashes by junior drivers with most of the laps being under yellow flag conditions; During this 1st session we had around 20-30 seconds under green flag conditions which was pretty much yellow flag speed due to the amount of drivers on track.This first session was terminated early by the trackside marshals which followed a brief to all drivers about why they ended the session etc. We were then promised an extended 2nd session which we had to wait 30 mins before we got called down to track again. This 2nd session ran way smoother due to all the junior drivers being pulled out of this session which left around 10 adults or teenagers on track. We all completed our brake tests during half a lap and got the green flag in rapid time. This green flag conditions carried on throughout the session with no red flags and a few small periods of yellow which is understandable. However when the chequered flag came out we all thought it was a short session. When we got back into our cars we added up the lap times and found out we were only on track for 11 mins which was supposed to be a “extended session”. I’m not usually one to complain but paying over £300 for a party of 7x17 year olds who most don’t have well paying jobs is a bit disappointing with the lack of racing we endured. However, following my complaint i had a quick, understanding response from a very polite team member of teamsport birmingham who gave me and my party vouchers to come again at a later date. This quick response caused me to write this review as i have been to this venue before several times and have always been really impressed in the punctuality and quality of marshalling and how well they look after you and it was nice to be able to go back there after a very disappointing experience we had.I definitely recommend teamsport Birmingham as it is one of the best tracks i have raced on before and the staff are great and very friendly.
Had an amazing time at Teamsport Go Karting (Bournemouth) thanks to the brilliant team! Paddy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. All staff were very welcoming, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their energy and enthusiasm really added to the experience.We'll definitely be back!
Although most of the staff are great some have a dont care attitude , i emailed in and made a complaint which they would prefer you not do! What else are you meant to do when all the karts are unequal certain racers are given the only good karts week in week out meaning others do not have a fair chance at qualifying for BIKC. You report issues with the karts and the unfairness of it all and they dont care at all. I heard BIKC was rigged last year at dunstable and by the looks of things it will be again. Either certain racers are over confident in themselves or they know there going to win, as I over heard one racer clearly state to his competitors he is going to Win BIKC for his category and they have no chance in winning.My advise save yourself some money and dont bother with this site as all you will get is slow or broken karts and other racers gets favoured with the good ones, you might as well try other sites lest you'll have a fair chance!
We’ve been going regularly to Bournemouth and Reece who runs the place is top notch. He checks in with people, knows the regulars, has time to have a conversation about sessions and what’s going on at the centre.When we had a session cancelled the other week due to damage to the track they were very good about it and sorted us out with another session on a later date
Recent visit to clydebank will most definitely be the last. They haven't got a clue of their own rules on track, they say stop if its red, slow down to walking when yellow, then proceed to black flag when we hadn't completely stopped when it was yellow! In the 30 mins we went around the track we never got more than 2mins without being stopped. Staff where running across the track and had to be avoided. They were being argumentative and threatening to kick myself out because apparently I shouted at them, I'm sure everyone has a raised voice when ears are covered! My son crashed on tracked and immediately got rammed by two karts, I tried to console my sons who was crying and in pain, I was told not to console my son that they would see to that. Had they got a yellow flag or red flag on when he initially crashed he would not have been rammed twice. Marshalls are shocking and need proper training. Toilets had no soap or toilet paper.The only saving grace of the day was the girl in the lazer shooting game, who was an absolute delight to all the kids I took. The rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from her.
Had a Birthday party at Teamsport Nottingham for my 11 year old son and 9 friends. Not the cheapest party but an excellent experience. The kids loved it and had a great laugh. Our party host Grace was amazing. Really friendly and informative. She ran round and worked really hard to ensure everything ran smoothly for us. Also took advantage of the race again, and bought 10 race agains for only 17.99 each which I can use in the 6 week holidays. Loved the podium at the end and medal ceremony which finished things off nicely.
Teamsport consistently delivers outstanding customer service. Whenever any issue arises, it’s handled promptly and professionally. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and are committed to providing the best experience possible. My son and I have been visiting for years, and in our opinion, there’s no better go-karting company in the UK.
