Booked for my sons birthday he went with his big brother while I watched. He was nervous and they were split up and put on 2 different sessions and were abrupt when this was pointed out but did rectify it. My younger lad wasn't able to overcome his nerves and the staff member who was with him was brilliant and said we should be able to get a refund as he hadn't been out. We watched his big brother finish his laps and went through for the golf and to speak to someone about a refund. I was then told no, the manager was called, the same abrupt lady who mixed up the sessions and she eventually said we couldn't have a refund but could get the price in mini golf, she took my details and that was the end of August...my lads birthday! It was an expensive shambles, I didn't argue as it was my sons actual birthday and I didn't want to cause distress. The customer service was horrendous, the only person that was helpful not just because she said we could have a refund but because she was friendly and compassionate was the young girl who dealt with my son on the track. What was supposed to be a birthday treat became memorable for all the wrong reasons. I don't think we'll go back even for the golf and I wouldn't recommend the karting at all and there was more human kindness from a stone than there was from the manager that day.
