Review Time
I booked my dad and son in for a go karting session (2 X 15 mins) on Saturday. My son was spending the weekend with his grandparents and I thought they would both really enjoy this.Sadly they were both very disappointed.Firstly the wait times. It seems too many people were booked onto the session which meant very long wait times to get on the track. As a "goodwill gesture" they were offered a 2nd 15 minute sesssion, however this was actually part of the deal I paid for! Very cheeky and deceiving to make out this was a bonus when it was already covered by what I paid. Secondly, course rules did not appear to be followed by the staff. My son, being 11 was put in a slower kart and had racers bump into him and fly past him not adhering to rules, nor getting taken off the track when doing so which made for a pretty awful experience. This was booked as a family course and I find it shocking that course etiquette was not enforced by the staff. This could have resulted in serious injury (in fact one racer was taken off with whip lash). One to watch out for if taking younger kids onto the course.Additionally without being advised, they had to pay a further sum of money for gloves and neck scarf which just seemed like a complete rip off. Lastly there was no mention that my son would be in a slower kart, kind of defeats the purpose of a "race".All in all very disappointing and won't be coming back.
Came to Bournemouth TeamSport for the first time today, Staff were amazing here, polite, happy & over accommodating…. Really great set of guys that work here I 100% will be returning! And would recommend anyone to come here! From the minute me and my partner walked in they made it easy and fun… and everyone was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
I had a bad experience last time we went but I am glad to say that they have tried to reach out and make amends for my original bad experience and that is all one can hope a business that cares for their customers would do.
We booked a party for our son, which unfortunately was not what we had hoped due to a number of issues. However, when I contacted customer services I received a very swift, kind, empathic and sincere response which was very much appreciated and we are now looking forward to being able to return to the venue in the future.
Absolutely shocking flag- tastic! on about safety? more dangerous with flags going up all the time and drivers all bunching up, really badly ran they didn't like us from the start red flag for 4 mins, black flags for what reason? penalising drivers then put them in cars knowing full well the car was no good, getting one full circuit with out any flags. At the end we was asking 'why this session had been supervised this badly' and they could even show/tell us why. Think you need to change your employees there, we went as a group and straight away we could see they didn't like us.We all feel like we have been robbed of our one day out together celebrating and I will not be using these again BE AWARE COVENTRY ONE
I raised a complaint regarding the fact that there was high numbers of people on the track meaning that it was very difficult to even get one lap in without the race being stopped that said the team have been very keen to hear my feedback and have been very generous with regards to offering us another free session. I just hope that They will address the issue as it would see somewhere I’d like to go regular.
