I'm following lots (not all) of…

I'm following lots (not all) of RehabFix's instructional videos, and they do help. Plus I love the mindset.

This program gave me my life back

This program gave me my life back. After herniating multiple discs in my lower back during service in the Army, I spent many years in fear of aggravating my back. Would flare up almost monthly. Is my back perfect now? NO! But I haven’t had a flare up in 10 months and am back to working out, golfing, picking up my son, etc.

RehabFix phenomenal muscle training

RehabFix offers phenomenal, first class advisory on low impact exercises. My health has improved massively with exercises he explains very well. Back pain, GONE; hips, HEALTHY; upper back, healthy and walking upright. I can only recommend him as probably the best professional for pain and movement.

RehabFix 12 week program graduate here…

RehabFix 12 week program graduate here (post 2 months program completion).Anyone out there thinking of giving this a go, here's a perspective from someone who dealt with low back pain for close to 5 years (L4/L5 herniation). All these thoughts went through my head before I started:-Will it work? What if it doesn't work!-How can they fix me, if they can't see or work w me in person?-Is it expensive? Can I afford this?-I don't know these guys, will they take my money and rip me off?-What if it doesn't work?I get it, but let me assure you of many things here:-it will work-they don't need to move your body for you, YOU need to move it. No in person meetings or physical treatment needed.-Can you afford not to? What have you spent on PT, chiro, massage, needling etc already? Has that worked? How much you spend on eating out, coffee, or splurges on anything that has nothing to do with your health?-your money is safe-YES IT WORKS!!!! :)Here's the #1 thing you need to remember when you start this program. When you start it, you complete it. You don't give up, you don't cheat it and you work your ass off to get it done. I'm a 43 year old dad of two that got his life back. I am an active person who loves mountain biking, dirtbiking, snowboarding, golfing, running, working out etc.. Was it easy? Some days yes, some days no. I still have small bouts of back pain, but things that normally took me out for weeks, last 24-48 hours and I'm back. When you graduate this program, you have a new confidence and education on how to get things sorted.I also didn't miss one day when I was enrolled. I also haven't missed a day since I graduated. I STILL do the movements morning and night, every damn day. I am now pushing myself in the gym to get some strength back, that I lost over the last 5 years not being able to get in the gym the way I wanted. This means I might have some crappy days. But nothing comes easy. While the program only took me 3 months to complete, I know I still have work to do. But remember, the goal was to be pain free, which I am. I could go on and write you all a novel, but you get the point. Anyone considering this program and have questions, feel free to ask.Bottom line - Grant, Alec and the team have your best interests in mind and will heal you. You just gotta change that mindset & believe!

Too expensive for what it is. It might help you but didn't for me

As per the previous review. I tried this course as when you are in dire straights you ll do anything. It might be helping others but it didn't help me to the level it was sold as which was more or less "we fix you". There are some good doctors there but I definitelly don't feel like it was worth that huuuge price tag. For those suffering with lower back, bulging, protrusion or other disc issues I m sure you can find a cheaper alternative. I know it is hard to do anything when you can't move or pain is 9 out of 10 when yoh do move but it will save you money and if you start on YouTube or other social platforms the algorithms will start spitting more and more content for you. If you are on NHS waiting list as I am for op I d suggest doing those and listening to your body if it hurts too much during the exercise stop. Do only to the level you can do which usually is just reaching the pain barrier (hard to explain if you are in constant pain but I m sure you ll know what I mean when you try). In the end I was doing all their exercises as prescribed, managed to get to the gym (I had a steroid injection into my spinal canal which helped to some degree) and swim but I m still not there yet eg. Can't really walk normally, bend not mentioning playing any sports or have a pain free day lol. Their programme is like a template initially and if you decide to go for it and spend all that money be sure its really reflecting your situation. If you have mild symptoms i m pretty sure it will help you but then would you spend that kind of money for mild symptoms and online course? It focuses initially on mckenzie exercises (lower back extensions on pillows then extensions on elbows or hands if you can do those). The exercises have clear videos and instructions which is good. Then other exercises are being added but your initial magic bullet is mckenzie you can google those as i have been introduced to them in 2009... so nothing new. With the weeks going by you need to be really pushing them for tailored programme if you feel like the template doesnt work for you or aggrevates your l pain - it was for me and after 4 weeks we finally got the programe that I could do. I did get that extra month at the end as I complained. The main man sells you the programme and then you get another doctor/coach to guide you and answer your questions once a day. It isn't phone calls but you can send videos. Don't expect that if you write essays they ll respond to everything but my coach did engage with me almost daily. I cant say for certain but i recon they spend aprox 5 to 20 minutes a day on your case depending on your engagmenet of course if you dont give them feedback and ask questions you wont get answers. Bottom line for me is that I have a list of 50 exercises I can use. Out of them I knew from the past years of pain management probably around half of them. The other half i could probably find online but they do give you that progression via the app based on your feedback. The programme has a good structure so it helps you do those exercises in the app daily but when uou finish the programme you won't have that access anymore so if you do decide on going for it as I did then make sure you make notes for future reference or ask for a pdf plan. If th3 programme wss half price to what I have paid I d give it 3 stars - still not a fix for me and for sure not everybody as a result and as mentioned its very expensive but it will work for some of you if you want to invest and follow through. Having known what I know now I could probably get 100 manipulation sessions locally for that price. The problem is of course if you don't have a very very good Dr/physio/chiropractor nearby which was the case with me you ll try to grab to anything. There is logic to what they do they just shouldn't sell it as we ll fix you programme whcih annoyed me as i really thought 3mpnths and I ll be back playing basketball etc. Clearly I m better, still in a lot of pain and walking issues but I can definitelly say my back is not fixed. One last suggestion when you have your consultation programme don't make a decision to buy it on a spot and sleep on it do a bit more research and then decide. Unlessyou are spontaneous then get your credit card ready... they ll have it by then anyway so they ll take the payment as soon as you say yes 😉 Ps rehabfix I m sending that review to you as well as trust pilot allows me to do so with a tick which is great. Please engage/comment as I think the audience needs to hear your side as well and I do believe in a fair review and a chance to have a meaningful response/rethoric. This review is based on my own experience. I m sure you ll have good stories as well from your programme.

Life Changing

I’ll be brief, I worked with Grant back when RehabFix was just him. Had back pain for almost a decade. Saw 7 different doctors/PT’s/Chiro’s and no-one could help me (Suggested drugs, surgery etc). Grant got me out of pain in under 2 months and back to full capacity lifting heavy in 9 months.

Where do I start…Grant has been a long…

Where do I start…Grant has been a long term solution for me on almost anything PT related. My primary problem has most frequently been my low back. I have had almost every symptom imaginable at some point. I train hard and live an active life so being hurt isn’t really something I deal with well. Recently I was dealing with a low back injury that left me unable to contract muscles in my right leg. The leg was beginning to atrophy and I couldn’t sleep because of nerve symptoms In my right leg. I was in shambles to say the least.I reached out to grant asking for help. I was responded to promptly and given a comprehensive plan to see improvement. Although I am a trainer/coach I would have never been able to test, diagnose, and prescribe exercises and movement for myself in the beginning. Surgery was not something I ever put on the table as I don’t think it’s necessary for most people who have the right rehab program in place and live an active and healthy lifestyle. Grant gave me a series of what seemed like simple exercises to improve my status. I saw 10-20% improvement with a low back opener specifically in the first week and was able to finally sleep at night. We continued repeating the simple movements and I saw amazing improvement as my discs were able to migrate back to the middle of my spine. No more nerve symptoms after a month of not being able to sleep or train was amazing. After going through the program I know how to take care of small issues when they crop up and I feel prepared for training and rehabbing small problems on my own. If there’s ever a time I don’t feel confident in my abilities getting back to 100% I know I will be taken care of and given a plan to improve immediately when I reach out. Grant was great help and I would recommend the program as it is easy to follow but it only works if you are disciplined with your exercises and provide valuable feedback. I hope this helps anyone that might be considering PT or Rehab for Low Back.

I can't thank Grant at Rehabfix enough

I can't thank Grant at Rehabfix enough. The best money I've spent. After breaking my back in a mountain bike crash and later collapsing on a train 3 years after due to back pain issues that had been increasing, I had an MRI which showed a number of issues both where I had injured myself but also from years of sitting in a car or at a desk (Degenerative disc disease and prolapses), and at my age (50) i was not expected to regain a painfree life. I was told by a UK (Bupa) consultant who specialised in backs and sports medicine that I would never run or ride a bike at the same level again and would likely be in pain for the rest of my life unless I had an operation.I wasn't happy and looked for alternatives. To cut a long story short, I contacted Grant after following him on IG. I was sceptical but I was at what felt like the end of the road so I went for it.Grant's support and guidance alongside his tailored plan started with very simple exercises and built these up over time. There were times where I had a issues with exercises and progress but during the regular check in's Grant explored this and either reassured me or changed some of the exercises to ensure progress. The key was to go slower than you want, as an over-achiever I wanted quick results but Grant made me realise that slow solid progress is far better in the long run for sustainable success. His drive for my success ensured progression.Over the programme the results slowly came apparent and I not only started to believe I could be painfree but I was becoming painfree and stronger. The approach has worked and 2 years down the line I have confidence in my back, and even when I feel some pain coming on I have the tools and understanding to resolve anything before it gets to bad. I'm now training for mountain biking competitions and am very active (circa 15k steps a day). I couldn't be happier with my back and the experience with Grant. The only downside is that I've lost touch with my physio who I used to see every week. Massive thanks Grant!!!
