I ordered a pair of Hestra ski gloves which was priced less than other retailers by about 20%. After three days, I sent an email requesting shipping information. There was no reply from The Warming Store. Two days after that, I called and was connected to a customer service person who, at first, told me the gloves may ship in three more days (which would be a week after I ordered them). I asked why there was a delay, did not get a straight answer until I pressed the person, and was told the gloves were back ordered and they could not promise they would be sent even in three days. The gloves were advertised as in stock and available. I canceled the order but have not received a refund as of the date of writing this review.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Order can partially fulfilled. No indication the rest was forthcoming. No replies to emails. Customer service had no information on the order. Customer Service hung on on me, had to call back. Then they told me 30-60 days for them to restock inventory and ship to me,
Only one person to answer all calls to order or for a warming product expert. This person is clueless about their products. The jacket I needed was backordered. They're going to go out of business. If you get on Gebring website - this is the same company/person answering the phone.
On 9/6 I ordered some inexpensive Ice Bandana replacements and paid $6.49 plus $5 for shipping. On 9/8 I receive an email from The Warming Store that my shipment is held up by USPS for lack of delivery payment. On that same day, I emailed the Warming Store back asking why they didn't pay USPS and to please handle it. On 9/11, after not hearing back from them, I called them and got a bunch of illogically double talk about it being handled and not to worry about it and then they hung up on me. Fortunately, it was not a lot of cash out of pocket, but I'm sure I will never see the ice replacements I ordered.
I ordered a cooling vest. It came on Saturday, I tried it on and it did not fit well for Pickleball play. I sent an email immediately requesting refund. I received the first reply from Sam saying "the item cannot be worn". I did not wear it, only tried it on for 30 seconds.I replied with that and the last reply was that it was non-returnable due to manufacturer's warranty. There is no such policy on their website for Oro. This vest was $200+. Also, I ordered this item on May 22 and didn't receive it until June 7...when website says 3-5 day shipping! Ordered it in white, got it in black.WHAT MORE DO I NEED TO TELL YOU.UPDATE 6/12-RESOLUTION OCCURED AFTER MANY BACK AND FORTH EMAILS. I WAS DIRECTED TO SEND MY ITEM BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR A REFUND.
I bought an arm wrap from this company which came with a one year warranty, and when it failed in 10 months and I contacted the company about replacing the product they informed me that they do not honor warrantees, and that they leave that to the manufacturer, which was a company called UTK out of China. So after several weeks of garbled messages from somebody who obviously does not speak very good English out of China at UTK the only message I got back from them is that they do not honor Warrantees either, and that they depend on the company who sells their products such as the Warming Store to fulfill the warrantees. So each side was pointing fingers at each other and I never got my product replaced. Beware of purchasing any UTK products from the Warming Store, as when they fail, which they will, no one will take accountability.
I ordered a pair of boots on 01/28/2025. I received my order 02/04/2025. Opened the package and the boots were four sizes bigger than I ordered. Got ahold of customer service, after 8 tries, and was told they would not ship the correct size until they received my return package. Seriously?? They had my $$ from the order and was already applied to my card. Shipped them back on 02/05/2025 FedEx. They received my return package on 02/10/2025. I emailed customer service on 02/11/2025 inquiring when will they ship the correct size back. I received this response -Dear James,Thank you for your response.For return exchange we will notify you once we process the item for you.If you have any more questions or concerns don't hesitate to message us or call us at 8884061984.Thank you!PerlSupport TeamHere it is 02/18/2025 and still no response on when they will ship my correct order. They have been paid. They messed up the order with the wrong size. They have received the return package. Two weeks later they have not even sent me the correct size order. I wish I would’ve researched more on this company and never bought anything from them. Buyer beware.
