This is not a Ticketmaster problem, but the venue, Scotiabank Arena. After a flight cancellation and then delays on the rebooked flight, I ran from Toronto City airport hoping to at least catch Brandi Carlile's encore. However, I was declined admission at the venue (after being sent to different doors by security) as I was told there was no one to scan my ticket (at 10:00 pm). I don't understand why there was no one on site able to process my ticket!
This is will be a review of seeing System of a Down in Toronto in Sept 2025 at Roger’s Stadium. I do not live in Toronto and needed to use the map link attached to the ticket from the official TicketMaster email, which directed us to the incorrect venue. We were directed to Roger’s Centre instead, again by following the directions attached to the official emails from TicketMaster. If we had been one of few who had done this, I’d say we were to blame, but hundreds of people doing this points to a design issue here. We took a very expensive uber to get to north Toronto as this was the quickest option and still missed all of Deftones, which was extremely disappointing. We saw other concert-goers in tears over having experienced the same thing. I reached out to customer support after and did not receive a reply. I do have a screen recording on my phone of the map attached to the ticket that opens and directs you to the wrong venue. This story even made it to the Toronto newspapers. Shame on you. A partial refund would be appropriate considering we missed half of the concert and incurred additional costs to get there in timely fashion (we would have otherwise taken public transport at a much lower cost). Seriously, do better. At least make sure the maps you are attaching to your tickets are correct. People from out of town should be able to trust the information attached to their official communications from you, so for that, f—k you.
All I wanted to do was change my phone number but it kept sending a code to my old phone number which obviously I dont own. I called to change the phone number and was met with 4 verifications before tells me he cannot change the number but will be escalated and an email sent to me in 5 or 6 days????? with instructions. Your customer service is horrid!!!
The ticketing process was fairly easy, but transferring tickets was not. I was buying tickets from Ticketmaster for the Indiana State Basketball Finals for myself and some friends. The IHSAA (event organizer) started using Ticketmaster a few years ago, because they had been spending a lot of man hours in processing 20,000 ticket requests for the tournaments. The web site says part of the convenience of Ticketmaster is that you can transfer tickets to friends via text or email. But when I tried to send the tickets, there was no "text" option. So, I called Ticketmaster, and they were no help. I had difficulty understanding the English that the customer service rep was speaking. She did not acknowledge that their web site was incorrect. She did confirm that I must transfer by email. Not very user friendly for the $33.25 I paid Ticketmaster in service fees. In previous years I only paid a $3 fee to IHSAA for mailing my tickets to me. So much for "progress".
The most garbage platform of all time. I have constant issues with Ticketmaster, and it is never an easy process to try and purchase tickets. You can update your app and have everything ready to go and it still won't work. Using your browser on the PC is no different. The company doesn't care because they dominate the market and consumers are limited on options. Even their support line is useless and not helpful in the slightest. After entering the wait for a concert I was placed in 900th spot. By the time it was my turn, the platform continued to send me back to the main page with no error codes or anything indicating why this was happening - so for the 2nd time I have missed out on the release of tickets for the same show.
After calling support they listed reasons why this could happen, none of which were relevant to my situation and even indicated to me that they couldn't see anything on their end that would suggest a reason for these issues.
If you can avoid Ticketmaster, do it. I don't know how there are any good reviews for this company as everyone else I have spoken to also has had issues with this company. Don't trust the positive reviews, they're likely not real.
0/5 - Absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs.
I encountered issues loading my ticket from the website, which left me quite frustrated. I found myself waiting in a long line to reach the ticket office, where they also couldn't retrieve my account. Ultimately, they had to print a ticket for me.
We had an amazing experience on the arena tour and truly enjoyed the behind-the-scenes insight. Our host and the security representative were both fantastic, sharing fascinating stories about the venue's history and operations. The tour felt leisurely, and they encouraged questions and photos at every turn. As fans, we particularly appreciated the representative offering to take family photos in and around the locker room—a thoughtful gesture that made our visit even more memorable. Even though we aren't basketball enthusiasts, it was exciting to get close to the court and see the team preparing for the evening's game. Being there really highlighted the arena's impressive size. We highly recommend this tour to any sports lover. Next time, we plan to schedule an earlier tour to catch the team's practice—thanks for the advice! We appreciate the effort made to create such a wonderful memory for our family. 🍁🏒
I believed I purchased tickets for January 9, 2026, but they were actually for December 28, 2025. I only discovered this after the event had ended, and I didn't even download the tickets. I'm frustrated that I can't verify whether it was my mistake or an error from the service. It's disappointing to have lost the money.
The event was postponed by three hours, which I understand is beyond anyone's control. However, the lack of refunds for this delay felt quite unjust, especially since transferring tickets was not an option. The scheduled start time was 9 PM, and since it hadn't begun yet, I was unable to get a refund, sell the tickets, or transfer them. Ultimately, I had to give my phone to a close friend to use the tickets and then retrieve my phone afterward.
The communication about the event starting significantly late was lacking. The show was scheduled for 6pm but was delayed by nearly 4 hours! I only received information about the late start around 7pm. At about 8:30pm, I was informed that the show would start at 8pm while I was still waiting in the lobby. Lauryn Hill had two shows - 6pm and 9pm - and attendees for the 9pm show were lined up as the 6pm show began, close to 10pm. This same issue occurred at her Calgary show, so the platform was aware it could happen again yet did nothing to safeguard fans from an artist causing such delays. Initially, those with 9pm tickets were told that 6pm ticket holders would enter first, but then they were informed that to attend the 6pm show, they would need to buy new tickets! Artists known for excessive delays should not be sold on the platform. Perhaps if large companies stopped selling their tickets, they would show more respect for their fans!
