I purchased tickets for Rod Steward which was on at Bowral but was cancelled due to COVID- I did not receive one cent of that money back they were uncontactable even on the phone number. Now I am trying to buy tickets to something else but their server keeps saying there is something wrong with my card, there is nothing wrong with my cards its all to do with ticketmaster they think they can do anything and they can because they sell the best of our music tickets .... come on Australia we can do better then this....
Unfortunately can't go to Pearl Jam on 21 Nov in Sydney, but Ticketmaster makes it impossibly hard to sell your ticket to someone else. They have locked down transfers, so I can't sell it on a different platform as I can't give the buyer the ticket. I tried using Ticketmaster's resale system, but while it works fine for seated tickets, it seems completely broken for standing area tickets. My resale listing has been up for days but when you search for a Golden Circle standing area ticket on the event webpage, nothing comes up. If people can't find my ticket, I can't actually sell it. And all resales are stopped 3 days before the event, so I've only got till Monday 18th to somehow try and sort this out. I've tried sharing the resale listing link with friends and family, but no one is interested, so I'm basically locked in with no options. I paid nearly $300 for this ticket, and I'm selling it for much less. And Ticketmaster's service is just awful. I filled out their support form but got no response. I tried again through a different page and got an incomplete response. I've asked a third time but time is running out. They just have no regard for decent customer service. I'm really going to avoid Ticketmaster events in the future - even if it's a show I really want to go to. Just not worth the trouble to be honest. They just make everything super hard.
I got a random email telling me I had to transfer my hard earned tickets to another person! No phone. No email. No contact details at all. No tickets. No information. No assistance. Even the performer was making jokes on stage about how bad Ticketmaster is. The only reason we got any tickets at all was the person at the box office generating them. She said "always choose "pick up at box office"". we will NEVER go to any event booked by ticketmaster ever again. No performer is worth it.
Absolutely ridiculous customer service!!!We purchased tickets to a concert months ago. Upon trying to open my Ticketmaster account I was asked to reset my password. Upon clicking on the relevant button I was told that a code was being sent to the email address connected to the account. No code was received. I tried this on several occasions to no avail. Bottom line, I cannot access my account. There was a Ticketmaster phone number I found, 136100, but all gets is ‘Thank you for contacting Ticketmaster. Out contact centre is currently closed. Our new operating hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week. If your event is taking place today, please visit the box office for assistance’. Then the call is disconnected!! I called that number 5 times between 9.00am and 5.00pm today (Monday). Seriously? There is no other Ticketmaster telephone number available anywhere. The ‘contact us’ section of the website forces you into a loop and the advice is to access your account, which of course I cannot do. The only means of contact is via a lengthy online form that asks for a whole lot of irrelevant information. I haven’t heard back for two days and the event is approaching fast!!! What a terrible business model.
Ticketmaster is difficult to contact. I have been trying to update my email address over the past three months as my email address will change soon. I have gone through the processes and have been advised that email addresses are unable to be updated at this stage. However, my old email address will be deleted soon and I will be unable to purchase tickets. I have tried setting up a new account with my updated email address but this has not worked either. Ticketmaster is very frustrating to work with and customer service does not appear to exist.
The cheerful attitude and helpful manner of the service operator. She told me exactly what she was doing and if there was to be time on hold she prepared me for it. She answered all my questions and ensured that my tickets had been received and that I could access them via the Ticketmaster website.
