Option for accommodation

Didn’t assist with my concern. Main cost of transaction was my accommodation and I have no information on how this is booked.

Ticketmaster sold tickets by mistake and is now refusing to give a refund

The response from Ticketmaster below is dishonest - the event time was not changed and I never received an email saying it had been changed. I received an email from Mark saying I had been mistakenly sold tickets to an evening show when there was no evening show on Thursday 16 November! I received this email from Mark on Tuesday 14 November, two days before the show! Ticketmaster continues to refuse my request for a refund for tickets that cost $445.95. I am in shock. I will never again buy from Ticketmaster and would discourage others from buying from Ticketmaster as well.I bought tickets to an event four months ago and was looking forward to going. One week before the event, I received a reminder for the wrong showtime. There is no number to call, so I sent an email querying the time. I also checked my ticket, which had a showtime of 7.30pm. I assumed the reminder contained a mistake.I received a response three days later with very little information except: your showtime is 1.30pm Thursday. I responded immediately advising that the time on my ticket said 7.30pm and I couldn’t attend a 1.30pm Thursday show, and asked customer service to please double check the time.24 hours later I received new tickets for the 1.30pm show. I sent another email stating that I could not attend a 1.30pm show due to work, and if the seats were not available for the 7.30pm show, I would need a refund.I received a response 24 hours later saying there is no 7.30pm show, I had been sold tickets to a 7.30pm show by mistake, and my refund request had been denied, but if 1.30pm was not suitable, to choose another event.I replied stating that I cannot choose another event, as it was now late on Tuesday, and I would be leaving Melbourne at the end of the week. Again, I requested a refund. Shortly thereafter I received another email denying my request for a refund.I have since lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria, as a refund is appropriate in this case. A mistake has been made by Ticketmaster - not by the customer - meaning the terms and conditions are not enforceable. This morning I have written to Ticketmaster advising of my complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria, but have not received a response.I would happily go to the show at 7.30pm on Thursday; I was looking forward to it. Mistakes happen, of course, but customers are not liable for mistakes made by the seller. Furthermore, I would have happily chosen a different event if I had been informed of the error sooner.

Prompt replies once I managed to find out how to contact customer service. A bit disappointing when the website tells me to contact customer service and it takes 30 minutes to find how and another 10 minutes to fill in a standard form which has nothing to do with my request
