Review Time
The positive: Fabulous atmosphere and great tennis.The negatives: had to park miles away in P1; didn't know closer parking could be booked in advance; for most of the first set, there was NO score or time on the screen so very hard to keep track of what was happening!
Actually this should be 5 stars and my issue is more of the Palais Theatre Security. When Air Supply was doing their encore, I went to the toilet near the gates. When I tried to come back to my seat in the orchestra section, the aisle was blocked by people coming from stalls. I have to push and shove people just to return to my seat. Why did security allowed them to block the aisles? They were standing there for 10 to 15 minutes (stalls people). A mate of mine didn't manage to return and just waited outside. So bad.
The start time for the concert on all of the Ticketmaster communication had a start time of 7pm so everyone was there lining up at 6.30pm including elderly people but the doors opened at 7pm and concert started at8pm. I think the commutation about the actual concert started time needs to be correct. Lucky it wasn’t raining heavily on the night.
FRAUD & SCAM:Ticketmaster rejected my purchase due to an error in their system and they rejected to provide any help, resolve the fault and provide the event ticket.I tried to buy one ticket for an event in Australia on Ticketmaster online platform as the official ticket seller. My purchase was not completed as a result of an unknown error which appeared after credit card verification. They tried to blame it on my credit card or Card Company, but after my Card Company confirmed everything was fine with my card and the AUTHORIZATION WAS SUCCESSFUL, Ticketmaster still refused to own up the fault and to take responsibility.Customer Support (represented by John Felix C, Ma. Cathirene T. and Arjay) were useless as they were saying multiple times to me to keep checking the website and purchase from there once the tickets become available again, even if the issue was very clearly Ticketmaster's fault and should have been handled by Ticketmaster.They never took responsibility, never explained what the error was about, never provided the ticket they rejected in first place (I never asked to have it for free).FRAUD & SCAM
