Excellent customer service and beatiful writing instruments

Excellent customer service and beatiful products. I have more Lumos pens and they are the perfect writers for me. Just tried the company website as discovered the titanium and the matte clementine versions. I love the versatility nib set added to each pen box. The Lumos pens are the perfect companion for me as I always carry notebooks with me. My favourites are the matte versions, they look elegant and provide a great comfort and grip.

Excellent pen and good service

I'm very much enjoying using the double lumos and having an easy choice of nibs and change of ink colours. I have literally saved hours of time and frustration by not having to try and unblock technical drawing pens. Response time is very good and accessories are readily available.

Amazing product and customer service

I have a Lumos and a Wren and I love them both. I had an issue with the Wren drying out and the response from customer service couldn’t have been better. They replied to my initial email on a Sunday and resolved the issue completely by the following Wednesday. The tea is delicious as well!Highly recommend

Extremely poor service and communication

I paid a significant amount for a pen and was given a tracking link and code that do not work. I contacted Tom’s Studio urgently but received no reply. The lack of communication is unacceptable, and I regret ever buying from this company. I would not purchase here again.

Absolutely beautiful lightweight pen…

Absolutely beautiful lightweight pen (The Wren). It was bought as a gift to me and was sent beautifully packaged. When it came I wanted to try some different coloured inks (it comes with a sample of black) - purchased some other colour samples, some replacement tips and reservoirs and the jars to keep them in. They literally came the next day in the most beautiful packaging with a complimentary luxury tea bag. Absolutely beautiful touch!

I have purchased 5 pens from Tom's…

I have purchased 5 pens from Tom's Studio and they are all excellent. I initially bought the Wren, which is innovative and lovely to use. I then moved on to try the Lumos, which I found equally good. However, I do not use liner pens often, my main love is fountain pens, so based on my experience I bought a fountain pen too. I now 2 Studio pens and 1 Studio pocket pen. All 3 pens have a superb selection of nibs (which are also sold separately, so you can vary them) and are superbly balanced and comfortable to use. The most well designed pen I own (and I own quite a range). These have now become my go to pens for every occasion. Beautiful to hold, even for long writing sessions and to look at. Thank you Tom's Studio. I couldn't recommend you more highly.

Incomplete

I had an issue with an incomplete delivery on items I had ordered. I had an online chat with Rachel today and subsequently spoke to Alison who called me at home within minutes. It was very positive and both ladies were sympathetic to my complaint. An issue with the website was identified and I was immediately offered apologies and a substantial discount and new items have been dispatched. Very good customer service and many thanks.George. All round bad experience

The pen I bought was defective and I emailed the company six times without reply. I left messages on Facebook and they asked me to email again, which I did without reply. They messaged me via Messenger to ask me to respond, which I did, but then got no reply. So my experience is that the pen doesn't work properly and the customer service is absolutely useless.

Ultimate flex? Ultimate joke!

I collect flexible nibs, as I use the all the time. I read Tom’s studio reviews and bought a titanium flex nib for £35. Added ebonite feed for £15 so that the flex nib would be well “fed”. I received a semi-flex nib at best, too stiff and also too fine, so there’s no pleasure to use it as everyday writer- it leaves pale thin line no matter how wet the ink I use. TS asked me for a review so I told them the same as here. They took it down on their website very quickly. As I inked the nib, there’s no return. They don’t consider it faulty-it isn’t, it’s simply bad! £50 into the bin, and rubbish customer service!

Outstanding customer service!

Having enjoyed my Lumos mini for some months, I accidentally damaged the nib holder. Tom’s studio couldn’t have been more helpful, both with advice and a replacement. Their products are brilliant, saving the planet while being lovely to use, and their customer service has been first class! I cannot recommend them too highly!!
