With Tom's Studio widening there product types again this year, i was thrilled to see the Artist range introduced. I particularly love the creamy watercolours - that do not disappoint & the continued use of recycled plastics (in particular the pans recycked from fishing nets). The service is also pretty fast, with your buys always reaching you within a week & being beautifully packaged. Great ethos, great company & great products.
I have been using Tom’s Studio Lumos for many years and only recently the Wren. When I started using the Lumos I gave up using all other pens. I have always wanted to write in ink and purchased heavily Diamine and Tom’sStudio inks. The pens are practical to use easy to maintain and frankly a joy to use with their interchangeable nibs. I love the idea of using glass capsules to store the nibs and reservoirs. The new Wren makes it all the more easy to carry in the pocket, an EDC pen. These pens are well thought out and professionally made. I have in fact given many away as birthday and Christmas gifts. Keep up the good work Tom’s Studio!
I absolutely fell in love with Tom’s Studio! The products are second to none and the friendly helpful staff are always happy to assist. I’ve filled my workspace with various writing tools and even started learning calligraphy and journaling. I’ve recommended them to friends and family and can’t wait for more items to be released.
This is a great company. I've bought 3 pens from them - a Wren for me, a Wren as a gift for a friend and the double ended Lumos for me. All he pens are a delight. I love the colours and somehow they aer just joyous to have around. The inks are great and there is something amazing about the different nibs, inks, colour combinations, etc. The workmanship is very impressive - I don't think there are any other companies producing products like this. Also their customer service is superb. I forgot to add an item to an order and they very kindly held the order and added the item. It was very impressive - many thanks to Laura for sorting it and for the lovely comms. So I highly recommend this small, British company - so SO much nicer and better for the world than buying yet another rubbish, disposable pen from Amazon!!
I've ordered several products from this shop and each one exceeded my expectations. Fantastic customer service, beautiful packaging & products (Lumos, Wren, ink) that do exactly as they're advertised to do. As an international customer (in relation to this particular shop) I often have unpleasant experiences, but not with Tom's Studio! You won't regret your order.
A really versatile pen needs great accessories. I needed to get some new writing tips. I love that with my lumos duo pens I can have different tips and different inks accessible all at the same time. I use several colours a lot and switch between them multiple times through the day, this can involve screwing and unscrewing the tips so I decided to give my pens some love with the silicone grease kit and it has made things move very smoothly. I have also got a replacement tip holder, not because I needed a replacement but because it means I have a quick change to yet another colour of ink in my daily rotation. When not using a particular colour and tip combo I just store it in one of the reservoir and tip containers (now have 6 for all the combinations I use) until I get bored of the 4 colours I have in my 2 duo pens. I love the creativity these pens provide me.

The idea for Tom's business came from watching his wife Gemma use a plastic mass-produced calligraphy pen which he felt didn't match the quality of her beautiful work.
