Review Time
I placed an order with this company on 9 December expecting it to have arrived in the 3-5 days (from UK) which their delivery timeline stated. When it hadn't arrived by the 19th I went onto the tracking information which had been provided by text. I then discovered that it had "cleared customs" on the 18th December. Was not advised that it was coming from outside the UK, took around 10 phone calls before I was able to speak to anyone; it was only then that I noticed the concerns of other customers on here ! The present has fortunately arrived for our Grandson i time for Christmas but I do not think that this company is transparent in their trading and customer service is certainly not good. The goods do seem very overpriced in terms of what we have paid and what has arrived.
This is an update to my following review. If like me you have been conned by this company either by them not posting out your order at all like me or if you are unhappy in anyway and they are ignoring your emails. The you can open a payment dispute with your bank. The bank will then look into the matter for you. I really hope this helps others who have lost money with this company.I intend to contact trading standards, I am looking into legal advise because this company should not be trading in the uk. I want to ensure no other customers loose their money.you issued me a refund on the 15th of December and i still have not got my money back. Please can you explain why? When i emailed you i eventually recieved a reply stating that it had not been dispatched, i then asked for a refund and you emailed me to say that my refund had been issued on the 15th of December. I still do not have my money back. Avoid this business as they are dishonest and fraudulent.I will be reporting you to your payment gateway provider for an investigation into your business pratice.
Empty envelope arrived today wedged behind our door handle not at the time it says on DHL e-commerce site and no picture of delivery provided. The game that I have paid for was not there which was a birthday present for two days time. I am contacting Toy Central and will await a response. Will update this review when I hear back.Update: Having emailed Toy Central last night, I have had a reply this morning and it is confirmed that the item will be resent. Hopefully I will successfully receiveiy this time. I would comment that the customer service is extremely efficient and they have resolved this matter very satisfactorily. Therefore, I would certainly use this company again. I have now changed my review to five stars following the impressive customer service.
