Unacceptable Support: Tradera Protects Defamation and Ignores Evidence

I am appalled by Tradera’s support and their refusal to take responsibility for moderating their platform. After a seller explicitly offered combined shipping in writing (stating "the shipping on the other is enough for both") and manually adjusted my order to "Local pickup" to reflect this, they later changed their mind and left three defamatory reviews as retaliation.One of these reviews publicly accuses me of "trying to cheat on shipping". This is a factually false accusation of fraud. On Tradera, it is technically impossible for a buyer to "cheat" on shipping because the seller is the only one with the power to set or change those costs.Despite providing clear evidence, including chat logs and order summaries proving the seller controlled the transaction, Tradera’s support was completely unhelpful and formal. Most disturbingly, when I pushed for a supervisor to review the clear case of defamation, the support agent simply closed the conversation, claiming we were "going in circles".Closing a case because it is "difficult" rather than addressing a verified lie is a total failure of customer service. By refusing to remove a false accusation of fraud, Tradera is knowingly hosting defamatory content and protecting a dishonest seller. I am shocked that they do not take user safety and the integrity of their review system seriously.

Non-existent service, robots then human robots with no compassion or human emotion answer both chat and calls. They monopolize swedish sales and charge huge sums just for using their service which is just ridiculously expensive, 10% of sales and another percentage of the ware just for guarantee of which should be a STANDARD in their usual sales fee then NEVER helps with anything if you need any kind of service.UPDATE:Regarding your reply, the fees could be (but just barely) justified if you actually provided service to your customers/members, at the very least when you have been a loyal avid user who contributed over hundred of thousands of KR through your system.

Tradera doesn't care

I paid an object to Tradera on 9 January. The seller received the money on 15 January. On my internal buyer's page, Tradera did not write when the object was sent - so I contacted the seller who brought me up to date. I live in France. To-day 21st January, the parcel is still in the Netherlands, and as I am leaving the country 23 January for a week I'll never receive it, as Tradera, in its wisdom, has sent it to a pick-up point where it only stays 5 days. I tried to explained this to Tradera's customer "service", but they just cut me off in the middle of a message ....

Serious Problems With Tradera’s Seller Accountability System

I am very disappointed with my experience on Tradera and the way the platform handled a clear case of seller misconduct.I purchased a watch through Tradera, but the seller sent the wrong item from Hong Kong. In addition to receiving the incorrect product, I also had to pay an import fee when the package arrived. After realizing the mistake, I reported the issue and left a negative review for the seller to warn other buyers.Eventually, after I provided extensive evidence, Tradera acknowledged that the case was obvious and refunded the amount I paid for the item. This confirmed that the seller had indeed acted dishonestly. However, the problem did not end there.When I contacted Tradera about the import fee that I had already paid due to the seller’s mistake, they stopped responding. Despite multiple attempts to get clarification or support, I received no further assistance regarding this cost.Even more concerning, I later discovered that my negative feedback for the seller had been removed from the platform. This raises serious concerns about the credibility of Tradera’s review system. If negative feedback about dishonest sellers is removed, the rating system no longer reflects buyers' real experiences.In my view, this creates a misleading environment for users. Buyers rely on reviews to make informed decisions, and removing legitimate negative feedback protects dishonest sellers while exposing other customers to the same risks.Allowing such sellers to remain active while suppressing truthful feedback undermines trust in the platform. This situation feels like public deception, and I believe it warrants attention from consumer protection authorities. Without transparency and accountability, other buyers may fall victim to the same type of behavior.
