Review Time
I had read about Twilio and was excited to use their service as a dedicated phone number for my business... unfortunately, the product is just trash - they took my money, then immediately suspended the account and after a few back and forth emails they closed the account without explanation. I had hadn't even been able to try out the product, as soon as I added credit to the account it was suspended. wtf
They immediately locked my account. I asked why and they sent a list of questions which I answered. They followed up by sending a longer list of questions. They need a reference for past projects in which you've used them. I don't have history with Twilio so I guess I can't be a customer. I've realized that's a good thing because they cut off a friend's service for his business and he went to Bandwidth.
I attempted to set up a simple Twilio phone system for a family cabin gate entry solution. After successfully creating the flow and purchasing a number, I was met with an endless loop of verification requests from their support team.Despite providing complete information about my LLC, my role, and intended use case in my first response, I received identical verification requests from three different support representatives (Abhishek, Gaurav, and Himanshu), each asking for the exact same information I had already provided multiple times.The phone number I purchased has been unusable (returning busy signals when called) while this verification process drags on. When I attempt to test my configured flow, it doesn't work, likely because the account verification is pending.For a company that promotes itself as developer-friendly with seamless integration, the customer support experience has been anything but smooth. Simple implementation has turned into days of frustration and repeated emails. If you need a quick communications solution, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
I also wish i had read trustpilot first... terrible process, ask lot of personal information over and over. Customer care don't even read the email (probably poor ai). spend 30 euro as we want to try a whatsapp automation tool, probably lost cause is going to be a niggthare to have a refund
Continually getting call from various numbers diesel emissions said I'd enquired wanted my email address to process a claim in my behalf. This company is just a leach praying on people to get there details and harass them. Last call had Manchester code.
Onboarding process is AWFUL - they completely wasted 4 days of my time, then refused to allow me access to an account?!All I wanted to do was offer my customers another contact method for incoming calls - nothing illegal or wrong. Then they had the cheek of repeatedly asking for feedback - well, for wasting my time twice, I’m leaving them 1* feedback.If you value your time, don’t bother with them. 👎 Poor customer service
