Review Time
Unless you pay extra at checkout, Uber Eats slides you in line behind others with one delivery person who is dropping off multiple orders. You pay the same service/membership fee as other customers but unless they can squeeze a little more out of you per order with their priority add-on fee, you get lukewarm food (but hopefully not food poisoning...). They could simply allow a single driver to deliver a single order and still make a lot of money. But quality and puntuality are not part of this company's mission...revenue is the priority. At the expense of the driver and you, the customer.
Hi, I ordered in Reading, the driver did not communicate with me at any point, there were no notifications sent from the app, i happened to see it by chance. I spent a hefty amount of time AND money. At the very minimum I would like to be compensated with a full refund. Thanks.
1 star as 0 isn't an option. First time using Uber Eats. Waited almost 2 hours for our food delivery for them to just cancel it! Very hungry, angry family. Will not use again. No compensation offered just a refund in 3 to 5 days! Unbelievably disappointed in such a well known company.
Worst company and staff. Refused to refund even though I was missing a whole bag of groceries. Customer service is non existent just send the same automated message. You ask to speak to a manager and they ignore it and close the chat. You want to put in formal complaint they also ignore it and close the chat.
I complained to the support desk as my food arrived cold, they told me that my food arrived within their specified time and that was it, no compensation, it took 30 mins for Uber to travel 1.1 miles to deliver my food, no wonder it was cold, useless company, I will never use them again
