Foot delivered to the wrong address on Friday 21st November in Upton , Chester . It was delivered 5 houses up the road and by the time we got it it was freezing! Contacted Uber and they weren’t interested and simply said no refund was to come our way . I would love them to challenge me on this because the driver took a picture of the house he delivered to and that’s proof enough they got it wrong . A disgrace of a service who only want your money . Avoid at all costs using them . Uber are another example of what’s wrong with this country . Shame on you uber
I would give them 0 stars if I could. I ordered from a restaurant three years ago, never received the food and didnt get a refund either. Disputed it with my bank and I was actually penalised by Uber Eats who left a pending balance on my account, which I had to pay for to use Uber Ride. I finally wrote a complaint to head office. They confirmed I was treated badly and said I would get a full refund, finally after three years?!? and its been ages and I havent got - clealy a violation of customer service basic laws. Still chasing them up, they clearly just lied about giving me a refund and wasted my time even more.
As a fast food delivery driver..my account has been deactivated becauseI was accused of not having delivered the order to the right address and even for some things that were missing from some orders?!It is not part of my DNA to do something like this!!.I asked for proof but with no response. In any case, I believe that every shop should seal the shopping bags and every customer should have a code to give when receiving the delivery!!Maybe the reason for my deactivated account is something else entirely? Do you want delivery drivers to have to accept all order notifications they receive via the app, so that the first hot food ordered must arrive cold? To the customer..A delivery driver should only be committed to one or two deliveries at a time to keep customers happy. Because customers should be treated with respect? The customer is the reason why a business exists and survives!!..
the worst food delivery company on the planet. trustpilot should allow customers leave 0 stars if thats how they feel. 1 star is not what I want to give this god forsaken company, they dont deserve any star. disgusting customer service, unprofessional scamming thieving liars. you will never get a penny out of me again even if you were the last food delivery company on the planet I'd rather starve which I often do thanks to the consistent late deliveries and GOOD Luck trying to get your money back from these thieves when they dont actually deliver your entire order, they send their bots to respond the same generic message over and over again and claim you're not eligible for a refund for your missing items. which is actually broad day light robbery. how can a company get away with charging for a service they didnt provide? isn't that a scam ? I cant wait till their shut down by some financial bureau of conduct / equivalent this is the most unethical company to ever exist. the last experience was the final straw for me. ordered a whole bunch of stuff from costa coffee (the croissant was out of stock and didn't get delivered ) contacted ubereats who immediately said they've refunded it and should wait some days to see this in my bank. so I waited . few days went by no refund, so I contacted them and their horrible customer service rep ABDUL AHAD who is worst than a BOT proceeded to do a 180 and tell me they in fact wont refund the missing item and thats the end. no evidence nothing. just claim the order matches the delivery which it bloody well doesn't. the worst experience of my life with any food delivery company. scammers. AVOID like the plague.
I would give zero stars if I could. Placed an order last night at Subway. There were 3 subs and 3 drinks. Total came up to almost $70. Not even 5 mins after I ordered I decided to cancel because that was insane in price. They claim that I will get my refund back within 24 hours. So decide to drive to Subway and order them there since it was going to be cheaper. Turned out I wasn’t going to get it because the merchant “started making my order” now I’m out that money. So most expensive Subway meal at $121
Used Uber eats for a delivery from a pet store Jollyes I was realy unhappy with the quality of the dog bed after trying found it to have no support , because I used uber eats the store refuses to help said contact uber eats there customer services was dreadful just stated they will pass on to the store my concerns and this will help the store do better in the future , how is that any help to me and my item that’s not fit for purpose, very very poor service
I am writing this review the next day to remove the emotions of the moment. My pizza was delivered 30 minutes late and was stone cold. The driver walked away from me as I was talking to him. When I called, the local Giordanos manager was very professional, apologetic, and refunded my money. He also explained that they use Uber Eats as their delivery service. They have a history of problems with Uber Eats and their drivers. Uber Eats stacks deliveries from multiple restaurants. This creates multiple pickups, and multiple delivery stops without Giordano’s knowledge. This makes the Giordano’s delivery app useless as their estimated delivery time does not consider the drivers other, unknown to the pizza restaurant, activities. While Giordanos produces a quality pie and adheres to a positive customer service code, they fail in delivery service by using an inferior company, UberEats, as a subcontractor. I can not recommend that anyone order delivery from Giordano’s. You also might be cautious with other restaurants who use Uber Eats for the same reason.
Their chat bot doesn’t work and they’ve now made it impossible to speak to a human being so I will be cancelling immediately. I had an issue last night where the restaurant had forgotten a beef patty out of each of my burgers. The ai chat bot decided to only refund me for one of these burgers. I tried about 5 times to contact support, in various ways to explain the issue. I told the chat bot that I needed a real human to review this case as I’d been refund the wrong amount. I eventually went on to explained that I would cancel Uber One if this wasn’t read as the ai is failing to resolve my issue. Every single time I received the same generic response stating that the system has already resolved my issue so we’ve ended your conversation. Literally nothing I can do from there. No contact number or email, no way to get past the ai chat bot. Can’t get my refund, computer says no, are we living in a Black Mirror episode? Absolutely wild for a company this size to completely rely on Ai for not only it’s customer service, but giving it complete power to decide what the system will refund you and leaving you zero recourse.
Ubereats app is NOT user friendly. Their customer service is pretty much nonexistent. The app advertises discounts that are difficult, if not impossible, to obtain. Very frustrating, it almost seems like a complete scam!!I will not use Ubereats again.
