If I could give it a zero star I would. Beware I went on Instacart today to order food and apparently they must have merged and it went to an Uber Eats restaurant without me knowing, as it was still in the Instacart application. My order was wrong and the delivery guy took it back. You cannot speak to anybody on the phone at Uber eats or Instacart. Instacart would not help me. I then had to chat with an agent on Uber Eats and after one full hour I finally got a supervisor who supposedly credited me the meal, but not the tip because it is against their policy. So apparently they said they would give me $10.80 worth of credits on Uber Eats. Not that I will ever use. Uber eats again! I went into the app hours later and there is no credits in there. Everybody that I was chatting with was from India. I gather they really don’t care very much about customer experience. Nonetheless, since they have merged with Instacart, I am canceling my membership with them immediately. I still had to call my bank and see if they could dispute this charge, and I am very confident my bank will. Customer experience with Instacart and Uber eats is the worst. Shamefully you cannot speak to a person. It’s only a robot or an agent. I would have to say that was an experience that was utterly frustrating for me,
Horrible, greedy, disgusting company. Every time I use this app it gets worse. First they made it impossible to chat with customer service through the app (the bot literally doesn't let you type and only gives you some pre-selected options), then they cut their customer service phone line so there is genuinely no way to speak to a customer support rep, now they have removed the option to edit tips, etc. etc. I have never ever seen a company this massive and influential be able to get away with the WORST customer experience I have ever seen. It's actually unbelievable.
Very disappointed in delivery, we ordered and were given a time frame, even saw the guy 8 minutes away!
Then to be told it could not be delivered as the address was not found....no call from delivery guy?? Very" ssed" off, not using again!!
Two days ago, I used Uber Eats for the first time and followed the app’s instructions exactly. At the very beginning, I was offered a deal, which I confirmed by pressing the “Claim” button, and the discount was displayed throughout the ordering process.
However, at the payment step, a message suddenly appeared saying that the promo could not be applied. When I later contacted customer support, I received a very strange email stating that I had violated the promo usage policy, even though I did nothing except follow the instructions in the Uber app interface.
This looks completely unprofessional. I recommend using other food delivery apps instead.

Yesterday I ordered from taste of paradise in Dordrecht and the food never came 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I ordered the food before 17.30 and I waited until 22.30pm and the restaurant is like 0.7km from my house
Less than 1 star. First issue was an incorrect order for my gluten free boyfriend. Mixing orders than could have made him very ill. Submitted the issue with support no email or refund. Second issue, placed an order well order an hour ago 4 different people accepted the order before I reached out to the driver and he told me the store was closed. Nothing but a spinning "connecting with an agent" when you try to contact support and the only customer service phone lines are for the drivers and the restaurants, NOT the customers. As someone who has worked in customer service for 20 years im extremely disappointed I can't talk or even text with someone about my order.
Uber eats customer service is the worst. You always get someone who repeatedly cannot assist in helping you. They offer you $2 in credits and tell you basically what you're saying is invalid and they can't do anything... if the APP prompts you to add 3 of something.. you have too.. then I was charged extra and told they can't refund it.. ps the "extras" I was charged extra for... weren't even included lol
The restaurant had the order prepared within 20minufes but we waited a futher hour and a half.
Worst possible experience ordering food and NO SERVICE OR SUPPORT OR REFUND OR CONPENSATION. Should be criminal. Avoid.

I prepaid CA$96 for an annual Uber One subscription valid through November 29, 2026. After disputing a charge for missing items (which my bank ruled in my favor), Uber placed a $24.92 “outstanding balance” on my account and restricted access.
Despite having paid in full for a yearly membership, I was locked out of the service.
I had to escalate repeatedly through support, send formal written notice via registered mail, and initiate dispute procedures just to have the incorrect balance removed.
After finally lifting the balance, Uber terminated my prepaid annual Uber One subscription and is now refusing to refund the unused portion of the fee — citing vague “policy guidelines” without identifying any contractual basis.
The issue isn’t the money alone. It’s the process.
Support responses were scripted, inconsistent, and required formal escalation to get basic corrections.
For a company of this size, customers should not have to send registered legal notices to correct account errors or recover prepaid subscription funds.
Extremely disappointing experience.
