Absolute rubbish customer service, no phone number to talk with somebody I’ve been waiting for my food to be prepared for 2:45 minutes after that another 30 minutes to be delivered with a bike on the pouring down rain, food arrived all upside down and stone cold, contact customer service with pictures and appropriate information but they decided there is nothing that they can do to help me with 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. Never again
Delivery driver literally delivered my order somewhere random and took a picture of it at a random doorstep, probably just took it for himself after that, and couldn't get through to an actual person, automated system just keeps telling me it's all fine and they can't do anything, meanwhile I'm out my money and have no food.
Delivery driver failed to turn up to Five Guys (Five Guys confirmed they have an issue with Uber Eats drivers not turning up). I then tracked the order and it said my delivery was next on the route; it's one big straight road to my house, yet the driver inexplicably turned off and started driving around a council estate for 5 minutes. There's no reason for him to have done this, it clearly wasn't the route, and I watched as he went in and out of side roads and cul-de-sacs while I waited for my already-late food. When the food arrived the burger was cold and my fries were missing. The fries being missing was Five Guys' fault, but the reason they were missing at all is because Uber Eats' driver didn't show up, so they had to remake the food and forgot to include the fries.I have no idea why the driver was meandering around a council estate for 5 minutes when the route was just a straight road... conducting other business maybe?I've been a long-time customer of Uber Eats, spending hundreds of pounds over the last year, but I've just cancelled my membership. I'm not funding a compant who doesn't care about its customers.Wish I hadn't tipped the driver in advance!
I ordered 5 meals today from the Metropolitan Diner located in North Wales, Pa. Total was well over $100 with added 20% tip. My order never arrived despite Uber Eats telling me it was delivered. A delivery person did arrive at my door BUT with the wrong order!! It was a single meal from a different restaurant. Thankfully I watched the delivery & was able to tell the delivery person that he delivered the wrong order, I handed him back the meal-and asked him where my order was? He gave me a bogus excuse, a bogus phone number for Uber Eats and walked away It took me literally over an hour to contact anyone at Uber Eats & never actually spoke to anyone-it was all on their app & I was repeatedly told my order was delivered even though I never received MY order We waited over an hour for 5 meals to arrive, never received the meals & ended up getting delivery directly from a different restaurant We will never again use the Uber Eats app, this is not the first time this has happened to us but I guarantee it will be the last. I work in both the medical field & the hospitality field and I would never provide the type of neglectful service Uber Eats provides This business is a joke & takes advantage of customers
This used to be a decent app but has gone downhill hugely. There is zero customer service or complaints process. I recently ordered from the app and waited an hour, it was only after googling the restaurant I found that it had closed and that my order never actually existed. I complained to their customer services who were abysmal; I asked to escalate the complaint, which they didn't do or have a process to enable this to happen. I've now deleted the app and closed my account. Won't use again.
So yeah these reviews speak for themselves! Pretty appalling. I’ve up to now been a heavy uber and uber eats user (multiple times a week between the two) but my last uber eats order has me cancelling my uber one membership.Order at 7.36 from a burger restaurant, delivery is supposed to be 8-8.20. Food is ready for collection at 7.51 as evidenced by the paper tag on the bag. Uber is struggling for a driver though, food gets collected eventually after 8.20 so we’re already running late, but there are several other stops first! I mean that’s part of the game, but as this order is already running late, the other stops just add insult to injury. Food eventually arrives at 8.40, and yes after sitting out from 7.51 is obviously cold. I don’t think it’s safe to reheat a burger, and it’s certainly not enjoyable. I’ve been arguing with uber since over the poor customer experience they refunded 20% but that doesn’t even cover the cost of the burger I had to bin, nor the fees. So I’ve literally paid uber to bring such substandard and dangerous food, it had to be binned.The food delivery and taxi businesses are super competitive. I’m in Edinburgh with a lot of other options thankfully. I’m still hoping uber can right this, but it’s certainly been a horrid process and experience, so why would I give them more business compared to their competitors?
