Honestly. I have deleted Uber Eats. One must pay a premium as compared to just ordering directly from the restaurant. Then Pay a delivery fee and prompted for a tip. I understand that this is for the convivence, but then the deliveries always seem to pick up many orders at once, meaning my food is not hot when it arrives. It doesn't help to pay the premium for first delivery as the driver will just wait for another order at the restaurant anyway.You are far better off ordering directly from the restaurant, and then getting their own delivery service such that any issues are their responsibilities. The customer support with Uber is not helpful at all, it seems like they don't care.
Honestly. Don't buy anything from Uber Eats. According to their "customer service" team, a £5 refund is perfectly acceptable for freezing cold food that cannot be eaten. Eveb though I said I'd like to cancel the order, they made me wait for food that I KNEW was going to be cold and inedible. Three complaints later, and I've still not heard anything from the "advanced escalations team", so, you can add LIARS to the list of things this company is known for. As well as terrible customer service. Also, don't use the same login as your uber eats account if you're going to complain. They knock points off your Uber account.
Don't bother ordering from these, there is absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Constantly food orders are delivered wrong and there is no comeback. I lodged a complaint and got a €4 refund from a €34 order and you are still left with cold food and the wrong products. So its basically tough luck. They have the money now. I have given up totally with this service.
Tried to charge me for food that never arrived so had to order again paying twice for the order uber eats refused to refund me and refused to communicate with me or give me answers just the same generic email was sent. Bank refunded it and they have a cheek to still ask for the money I won’t be using them again and will not be paying for an order I never received.
I will NEVER recommend this terrible dishonest company. I had a rotten perishable and they refuse to make it right!! I provided evident photos and it wasn't enough for Uber to take action and do what was right. Which is to refund their customers!!! Terrible! That is theft! You're stealing money from your own customers by denying them their refund! I had to physically go to Sprouts and speak to the manager who he alone made it right for me by replacing my rotten perishable. He took accountability whereas Uber plays a fool and a dishonest company who willingly STEALS your hard earned money! You're unprofessional at it's finest.
